Prego Creamy Basil Pesto Pasta Sauce, 14.5 oz Jar

I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had never had a creamy pesto sauce from a jar. To tell you the truth, I wasn’t expecting much. I’m glad to say I was so very wrong!!! This sauce is delicious! So rich and creamy and just the basil flavor is just perfect. I served it with spinach and ricotta ravioli and it was superb! Chef’s kiss

I had purchased this a while ago and pulled it out of my cabinet. I was pleasantly surprised at the good flavor/texture of this sauce. Delicious in a baked dish with cheese. I reordered both varieties- but yet to try the other one.

I love this creamy pesto sauce. it mixes the delicious cheesiness of an alfredo sauce with the herbaceous notes of a pesto. Mixing the two sauces together is a great idea.

this is my favorite pasta in the whole world. you can mix it with anything. my favorite is rigatoni with cheese in it and some parsley and some other herbs it's fantastic

This stuff is 'Out of this world' Delicious!!! I usually don't like Prego sauces because they are too watery but this Basil Pesto sauce is rich and creamy and thick enough to stick to your pasta. I've found no other brand that offers a pesto sauce as good as this. If you like the taste of Alfredo sauce this sauce is a great alternative to mix up your evening meal.

I made this with some tortillini and it was very creamy and savory. It's equivalent to restaurant style.

My husband wanted to try someone different, other than Alfredo sauce. He grabbed this and liked it. He made added it to some low carb pasta. I prefer the creamy roasted garlic pesto sauce flavor, but this one is just as good. It is creamy and the basil has a nice touch to the flavor. We found some chunks of basil in the sauce, but highly recommend you try it if you want something other than spaghetti or alfredo sauce.

Prego's Pesto offerings taste great, and add a nice depth of flavor. Unfortunately, some ingredient in Prego's Pesto and Alfredo sauces tends to upset my stomach. Hopefully that's just me.

its ok used as a filler but not for a stand alone dish. maybe im just used to my homemade alfrado and like that much better but i do use this to make lassgna with red sauce also and it gives it a good taste

I like this product flavor but it was way too thin and my preference is a thicker product. I do appreciate that there were no chunks in the sauce, like no twigs or hard seasoning flakes. Made good pasta salad. Was very good cold over cold noodles vs warm or hot.
