Prego Mushroom Pasta Sauce, 67 oz Jar

We love all Prego 67oz pasta sauces. The mushroom, meat and traditional. We have one or more always stocked in our pantry at all times. Sometimes when they aren't available we go for the 45pz but for us a family of 3 adults it's Prego 67oz for the win. When it comes to fettuccine Alfredo we go with a smaller bottle of another brand. So if you're not making sauce from scratch and a red sauce at that, Prego is the way to go and no one can change my mind about that

Bought traditional a couple times and I thought there was something missing; traditional was blah. I tried mushroom and it blew me away, I found what was missing...don't waste your money w traditional. Mushroom is the *hit. Don't waste your money on anything else, I promise you'll thank me. 😊

My go to sauce for spaghetti, lasagna, pizza and soup base. I do add fresh mushrooms, basil and bell peppers. I thin it with broth, add chicken or beef and make a hearty soup. It also makes an excellent base for cabbage soup with carrots and potatoes. Its not just for spaghetti any more!

My Homemade Lasagna Recipe: You will need a big bottle of Prego Mushroom Pasta Sauce, oven ready lasagna noodles, 4% whole milk cottage cheese either large curd or small it doesn't matter it's your choice, one 8oz block of Philly cream cheese, a 1lb bag of Kraft Mozzarella and the meat is your choice of 2lbs ground hamburger or ground Italian sausage or both cooked together. I make mine both ways and it is always great either way. Cook your meat till done, then use a large size casserole dish to build your lasagna. I pour some sauce on the bottom of the casserole dish to help it not stick then I lay down lasagna noodles. On top of the noodles I put the cooked ground meat then top with noodles. On top of that layer I put more sauce then add the cottage cheese enough to cover the noodles, then I use the shredded mozzarella cheese to cover the cottage cheese, then I use flattened pieces of the cream cheese and place them randomly all over the top of the mozzarella. Then I make my final layer the top layer with the noodles and add more sauce and the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese. I bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. Everyone loves this in my family and I hope yours will too! Enjoy :)

This size jar of Prego mushroom spaghetti sauce was excellent with my Italian meatballs. I put it in the crockpot, put it on low and let her cook all day made several meals.

It takes a long time to find a base spaghetti sauce that complements your meal with the perfect taste and consistency. This is the one! I have to say I've been searching for a long time and this one really is a home run.

Best sauce you can buy. I doctor it up with sateed veggies and garlic. With ground turkey so yummy!

The sauce had a delicious taste and with the size of the jar, it lasted a good while. I've bought this before and I will buy it again soon.

The best flavored pasta sauce Prego makes. Great for lasagna and spaghetti. No off flavors and no overdone spices. Rich, thick and delicious.

I haven't tried yet, but I'm sure it's good because the other order or garlic, etc . was delicious., which was in a family size! The mushroom size is in a much larger size.
