Prell® Classic Clean Shampoo, 13.5 fl oz, Clarifying, All Hair Types

I remember as a teen using Prell and have always loved the Prell smell! Still use it today. I switch between brands every 4 months because of build up but Prell aways cleans that all away! Hard to find anymore but thankful that Walmart still carries it. :)

I recently was having trouble with my hair becoming oily and not smelling clean no matter how often I washed it with my usual Name Brand expensive shampoo that I've used for year's all of a sudden it wasn't working. Well I remembered this one from using it as a child and teenager when I saw it. I purchased it and I noticed a change in my hair the 1st wash. It was is awesome!! I've got my hair back feels clean, smells clean and looks Fantastic like year's before. I'm soooo glad that it's still available. I just pray now that Prell is Not taken off the shelf like so many other shampoos ,Ect that have become extinct. Back to basics is often better. I will continue to purchase Prell and pass it on to my grandchildren that noticed the difference in my hair.

Prell is one of the few shampoos that use ammonium lauryl sulfate as a surfactant (grease cutter) where most other more "expensive brands" use sodium lauryl sulfate or worse, sodium Laureth sulfate. Sodium lauryl sulfate is a horrible chemical that is linked to hair loss in women

A genuine classic. A very effective clarifying shampoo, with that unique smell that reminds me of my childhood (many years ago). While there are zillions of shampoos on store shelves, sometimes you just can't beat a classic!

I like that you still carry this and that they still make it. It just, plain, gets my hair clean, no excessive perfumes, no added conditioners, just get my hair clean, please! And it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

The BEST shampoo in the US! Leaves my hair so thick and bouncy. Have been using since 1977 when I spent the night with my now 101 year old grandmother, who had it in her shower. I'm so happy that it is still around and so inexpensive.

Great product and great value

This is a clarifying shampoo. I used this at age eleven until sometime in my late twenties when I started trying other brands. I ruined my beautiful hair with those other shampoos that left residue behind! Im 59 now and this is my go to shampoo AGAIN. It cleans my hair thoroughly and leaves it shining.

I've used this product for at least 50 years. I'm allergic to most shampoo on the market. This still does the job.
