Best toothpaste for fluoride protection

David June 27, 2025

Enamelon toothpaste is specially formulated to apply more tooth strengthening fluoride than higher fluoride prescription competitors. It is recognized to do so in U.S. National Institutes of Health studies. I write this without financial incentive from Enamelon, but as a satisfied customer.

Super dental paste for inflammation

eloise March 16, 2025

Sensitive gums, implants and multiple areas of inflammation requires top-notice toothpaste to keep everything in line in mom's mouth. This product works the best for her since she has gone through so many different ones without benefit. She doesn't need much but with using it after each meal, she is able to keep her mouth from bleeding and inflammation minimal. Her dentist is pleased with the results

Great toothpaste!

anonymous June 28, 2025

My dentist recommended the enamelon toothpaste, but it is often difficult to find it in stock. I was thrilled to find it Walmart .com The toothpaste has a mild minty flavor (doesn't make my mouth feel like it's burning). The toothpaste paste has helped with reducing bleeding and inflammation.

Interesting product, not easy to find

FloridaMan9000 July 15, 2026

The company, Premier, claims this product is more effective than Clinpro 5000. Not by a little but by 2x. Despite having 1/5 the concentration of active fluoride. I assume they're not making that up. Pretty interesting stuff. The key is the ACP technology. Apparently it's that much better than 3Ms industry leading TCP technology. Anyway I think it's a good product. The problem is that it's not easy to find it or actually get it. It seems to only be distributed through like dental supplies and offices and all the online suppliers I've seen other than Everest or whoever sold this on Walmart will require medical licenses to sell it even though there's no legal reason or justification for all that. This is a 1100 ppm product like everything else, it's not a 5000 ppm that for whatever reason requires a prescription in the US. Of course in the rest of the world they can get 12,000 ppm products over the counter but of course our nanny state knows better even though it does what, exactly, to provide for the public's care? I digress. It's worth trying. But you're better off with the Gel which is a post brush treatment vs this toothpaste. It's more effective. Overall this is a good quality toothpaste. I like the taste better than the Clinpro5000. It has no water in it. It does have some silicone in it that they call hydramoldon or hydration something something. Idk about all that but the overall mouthfeel is interesting. IMO the dimethacone is a synthetic and inferior alternative to enzyme based products like you commonly see in Europe like enzycal and stuff like that. But that's not why people buy this stuff anyway. You buy it because the company is claiming the fluoride is 2x as effective as prescription only formulas that contain 5x more of it. Anyway. I've been using this instead of Clinpro5000 in the morning. I use carifree 1100 during the day. And I use Apagard Renamel or Royal, from Japan, at night.

Very thick, higher fluoride, decent flavor

Anonymous June 8, 2024

Extremely thick and somewhat expensive, had only moderate higher levels of fluoride for enamel protection. Has a milt minty flavor.
