It's handy, shines on walls and floors and provides exercise. I run it twice a day, have Great Value batteries in it and it's still going two weeks later. Great price.
I like that it runs on batteries and turns off after 10 minutes or so. also. the cats love it!
I bought this for our cat Casey. She does like it But she is MORE interested to see how it works. She inspects it everytime I turn it on for her. She is like a kid at Christmas who would rather play with the box !!!!! I thought she would play with it more, i spend quality time with her a few times a day playing ball with her. She would rather play ball with me than chase the laser. All in all the product is great but not for my cat.
I had to mess with the positioning of the lid for the battery compartment in order to get the unit it work. It seems like there is a very particular connection that needs to be made to get the electrons flowing to be able to turn the unit on. I am concerned that the next time I gave to replace batteries I may not be able to get it to work. Otherwise, the kitten loves it. Its great entertainment for her when Im exhausted and cant keep up with her energy.
It’s pretty cool, but I think it moves too quick for it to be any fun for the kitties. One of mine completely ignored it and the other one played for a while at first. After a few minutes I think he got discouraged because he couldn’t catch the laser.
I like that I ccan pick it up to play with my cats. One problem is that it goes too fast and my cats can't keep up with it and lose interest 10 seconds after I turn it on. It also covers too big of an area for example it's on the living room wall and then it's on the hallway wall and the cats can't find it. It might be good for kittens although my cat Midnight is 8 months old and he won't play with it. It works pretty good if you guide it with your hand instead of sitting it down.
Its okay. I like that my cat is interested in it and waits for me to turn it on. but I dont like how it cucles the light. part of the issue is I need a lower table to put it on. I have noticed that its track sometimes lands on the face of my cat which is not good for the eyes. automated but needs to be supervised.
Its a great idea, but needs a little tuning. The laser moves too quickly for my cats to follow (or me) I had trouble seeing if the laser was on at times. Also, the angle was too high. At the lowest angle, it sweeps across the entire floor very fast; moving the angle of the mirror up, and the laser shoots into the wall. Not effective.
the laser moves to fast for my cats to attack it consistently. you have to place it just right to hit the floor in order for them to go after it. it's also noisy and scares the cats.
Our cats loved it the first time we turned it on. But the laser stopped working the second time we turned it on. We bought new batteries twice for it, yet the laser still would not work. We couldn't return it since I threw away the packaging once we saw that our cats liked it. :(
