Loved this for my pit!
This is the greatest thing ever. We have a 45 pound Border Collie that will run around the car if you let her. This harness will allow her to come along on rides with us and still be safe. It’s easy to put on and the part that comes in contact with her is thicker and more comfortable than some harnesses I’ve seen. I don’t know what I’d do if something happened to our sweet Maggie. I love this harness and I’ll buy another one for our smaller dog too. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I got this product a little while ago and I love it. It is so strong my lab is almost 90lb and the XL was the perfect size. He travels on the beck seat of my truck and it keeps him fixed there. He cannot fly forward or fall off the seat. It is so well made it isn’t going to break or damage. it’s easy to put on him and I actually think he enjoys the security it provides him. I love this harness sooo much! I have always worried about my dog traveling in the car with me. With so many crazy drivers out there and having to hit the brakes hard more often than in the past, I am always worried about my dog falling off the seat or getting seriously hurt in the car. She loves to have the window down as well and I worry about her jumping out at a red light or breaking the window trying to hang out of it. This keeps her snug and secure to the seat. It prevents her from falling off the seat and from climbing out the window. We seat belt ourselves and our children, why not our dogs? Highly recommending this product!!! Premier Pet™ - Premier Pet™ Car Safety Harness, works great i have a chocolate lab who thinks he is lap dog and tries to sit on my lap when in the car who would not stay in the backseat even with a different seat belt with this product he is safely in the back and can no longer reach me or the passengers in the front seats. I now feel he is safe and so am I. great car harness! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I got this for my dog blue. He is a pitbull who is full energy all the time. So when I would go to the vet with him it was a hassle. This made it so much easier. The harness doesn't hurt him in any way and I know he is safe. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Our dog Farroh didn't mind the harness one bit. She actually would get so excited when we got it out because she knew she was going for a ride. We had use a leash to try and hold her still just to get it on. I think it works great and now she isn't climbing all over the SUV. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
it does a good job
I tried this product on my dog (a black lab) while taking a road trip that was a bout an hour. It took me a little to figure out how to hook it up but once I learned the first time I was able to do it quicker on the next road trip. It definitely was safer than just letting my dog roam in the backseat but it took him some getting used to. The first twenty minutes or so he wasn't a fan but eventually he settled down and relaxed. I think once we've used it a few more times he will get in to the routine. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Well, I got the Premier Pet Car Safety Harness, thinking it was a good idea. I travel with my 50 lb dog in the car often, and she sits in my back seat...unbelted, unrestrained. First off, the instructions are very basic, but I figured I could make it work. I placed the harness on her, loaded her into the car, and then tried to work the seat belt through the places on the harness. I did, clicked them together and....I'm totally underwhelmed. She can still move and insists on sitting sideways instead of with her back to the seat. That pulls the harness over in an unbalanced way, along with the padded front piece. This cannot be safe, even when I add the extra strap. I know that the product boasts of 2000+lb strength tested nylon, but the design is such that I think my dog would be harmed, even wearing this harness. Also, I will be buying a harness that has gone through crash-testing by the Center for Pet Safety. Crash-testing tests the materials AND the design.
