In our house we eat a lot of granola with yogurt for breakfast in the morning. We tend to shy away from chocolate based ones for breakfast so we used this one over frozen yogurt for dessert and it was so good. Totally recommend for a sweet treat without going to far with the sugar
The Post Premier Protein Chocolate Granola is such a tasty treat. The bites are just the right size to satisfy my cravings and I love knowing that they're a good source of protein. I can feel guilt free while snacking. Packages are a great size for on the go.
Normally, I am not a fan of granola. I'm usually not a fan of the texture, the taste is typically boring, and there isn't enough protein to start my day off right. Well, this granola changed my mind on all of that! I was excited to try my free sample, as I have tried the Premier Protein Chocolate Cereal and loved it. I decided to try the granola, despite my previous misgivings. What a treat it was! It tasted great with a terrific chocolate flavor that wasn't too cloyingly sweet, and the texture was good. But the 17 grams of protein per serving was the best part. I'll be making this a part of my breakfast rotation from now on!
Recently I received Post Premeir chocolate granola to try for free for my honest opinion.really loved this granola.it was very flavorful and had a lot of chocolate flavor.Best granola I tasted.the children enjoyed it on their ice cream and by itself. We give this post premiere chocolate granola Huge thumbs up on top of it coming from a Brand I grew up on
I tried the new Post Premier Protein chocolate granola and I was pleasantly surprised. It has a nice crunchy texture to it and does not have an overly protein powder taste. It has a little sweetness which was nice. I added some to my raspberry yogurt and it was like eating a chocolate raspberry dessert! The granola stayed crunchy and did not get soggy. It has 17g of protein for a 2/3 cup serving. I will definitely be adding this to my breakfast routine. I received this as a free sample to review from BzzAgent.
I received this product for free in exchange for writing an honest review. I'm on a weight loss journey right now, and getting enough protein every day is honestly harder than people think. It's even trickier as a vegetarian, because so much "easy protein" is basically just meat. I tried the Premier Protein Chocolate Granola and it ended up being one of those snacks that actually helps instead of just sounding good on the label. First off, it tastes really good. It has that chocolatey, crunchy granola vibe, but it doesn't taste fake or have that weird protein aftertaste some products get. I've been trying to cut back on sweets, and this actually helped with that. When I want something sweet in the afternoon, this hits the spot without me feeling like I need to go hunting for cookies after. The serving size also feels legit. It's not one of those "snack" servings that leaves you annoyed. It's filling enough that I can eat it and move on. Sometimes I ate it straight out of the bag, and sometimes I mixed it into Greek yogurt when I wanted something more substantial. It mixes really well with yogurt, but the nice part is you do not have to dress it up. It's good on its own. Another thing I paid attention to was digestion. A lot of higher-protein stuff (beans lol) makes me feel bloated or just off, and I didn't get that with this. No stomach issues, no heaviness. It sat totally fine. After eating a serving, I get no bloat and feel good enough to go out in workout clothes and not feel self conscious (side profile photo included)! Packaging is simple but it matters. The bag is resealable, which makes it easy to keep fresh and easy to grab a portion without making a mess. Compared to other protein granolas I've tried, this one actually tastes like something I'd choose to eat, not something I'm forcing down for macros. The protein boost feels worth it, especially when I need an easy snack that still supports my goals.
Full disclosure: I received this product for free in exchange for a review. This granola reminded me of chocolate cereal I used to eat in the 90's. I would say it was not that standard oat-based granola, but more of these crunchy clusters of puffs. There were very crunchy. And you definitely must love chocolate to like this granola. I mostly ate this as an evening treat with milk and loved how the milk afterwards had that chocolate milk vibe, again a throwback to those 90's chocolate cereals. Overall, would recommend especially for those looking for easy ways to get extra protein.
These granolas are crunchy and filling! I just ate them plain, without any milk nor yogurt. They are small clusters, perfect snack size! There are quite a bit that were broken down into really small pieces, so I just used a spoon. I had them as late morning snacks and afternoon snacks. They do fill me up with just a few balls, since they have protein. The taste of chocolate is ok for me. It still taste artificial to me unfortunately.
I wasn't expecting very much when I received this product, but I was pleasantly surprised. I kind of expected the granola to have a slightly chalky taste. That's common in a lot of protein bars, but there was none. I put it on yogurt mostly, and it satisfied my sweet tooth. I would definitely buy again.
This granola is pretty good. It's nice and crunchy, has good flavor. There is a bit of a "protein" flavor if that makes sense but I don't mind it. I've been adding it to yogurt with berries. I think the "17g protein" on the front is a bit misleading, that's per serving, which is 2/3 of a cup, which is 290 calories. I'm certainly not eating 290 calories of just granola along with nothing else. I only use about 10-15g per meal so the protein is minimal for me. I'm also disappointed about the use of low quality oils, canola or sunflower. I'd prefer the use of coconut or avocado even if that would rise the price a bit. All in all, I'll finish this bag but I wouldn't buy again.
