Decided to have an "untraditional" Thanksgiving dinner as there are only two of us now & no company coming. Were going to have ribs & crab with beans & mac n cheese but too much to think about by dinnertime so saved these Dungeness crab legs for the day after with leftovers. OMgosh...these were amazing! Defrosted in the fridge overnight, they only took 3-4 minutes in boiling water to warm up; didn't add anything to the water other than 2 tsp of salt. Succulent, sweet, no fishy taste & so filling without another main entree. Can't imagine how expensive in a restaurant! Wonderful value, wonderful taste, wonderful meal & will buy again; so glad we found these! Hope Walmart continues to stock this product!
THEY ARE BETTER THAN SNOW CRAB...... KEEP THESE IN STOCK PLEASE.......
it's a very good sweet crab meat In my opinion it's the best there is !!! but the last time I bought it 12/28 2018 it was fishy, salty , pasty and soggy and the leg meat was rubbery don't know if it was packaged poorly or just a bad batch was told that it would be replaced but I was lied too !!
this is the only kind I buy besides the King crab legs if these aren't in stock. The only complaint I have is that Walmart sells out too quickly. hint hint, Walmart, beef up your orders!! I always thaw these out in running cold water because I like to "wash" them. Yes, sometimes they have green on them, sometimes more, sometimes less so I clean that off and any other anything else i find, loose shell, blah, blah then, I cook them in the oven with a great butter garlic sauce recipe I found online . yum!! soaked in that and already thee best crab ever lived, that taste is super succulent, sweet, juicy amd very rarely do you get a fishy taste but what else is NOT to be expected from something taken from the bottom of the ocean? i do not have another brand to compare this to but depending on where you are, me in the Midwest, its not like I could walk to the Ocean View shops and grab a bunch of locally caught crab, ya know? No matter the low stock, I thank Walmary for supplying these, the blog I got my recipe from and I also thank my oven for making these melt in my mouth with flavors combined!!! :) I buy them everytime I shop!!
Pretty awesome value for frozen crab legs.
i can pay $10 for a whole crab this bag had only 8 legs for $17 not worth it
$20 For 2 Clusters (1 Crab) that was missing Legs; this is a bad product. I will not purchase again, and I do not recommend!
Legs were practically hollow
These are disgusting they came rotted
Smells like fish. Crab legs had mossy green/brown on them. Cooked them anyway but couldn't even eat them. Tasted like fish. Gritty and dry.
