When my doc told me I needed to wear knee high compression socks I told him the only way I would wear them was if they didn't look like ace bandage fake skin color… he said it sounded like a reasonable response and pointed me to Walmart and Amazon… had been wearing wool socks and really liked how they kept my feet comfy regardless of temp. I found these wool compression socks and took a gamble on them and absolutely love them. They are a suitable compromise..l they don't look like ace bandages a so they aren't medical looking, and I get to wear wool socks again while also following my doc's orders. One thing I noticed is that they aren't as snug as nylon or whatever they typically make compression socks from, but they do have good enough compression my doc approved. So, if you want your feet to breathe and you don't want medical looking compression socks, this might be a good option for you. They are soft, offer decent compression, and don't look all that bad the soft cozy part is my favorite feature it was missing that aspect of my wool socks I had been wearing before I was told I needed to wear compression socks… so I'm happy, my doc is happy and I'm sure hose who manufactured then sold them to me are happy too… we all won . Oh, I have short girl problems with knee high socks and these don't bind behind my knee a nod dig into my skin like the nylon ones do so they are more comfy in that regard as well. They are machine washable and I don't know about drying them though because I hang all my compression socks to dry along with my thin hooded fishing shirts because the material of both feels like variations of spandex bike shorts and bike shorts do far better long term if you don't throw them in the dryer, but they retain their softness really well in re to the wool socks I purchased.
I love these compression socks. They breathe!!! No more shoes full of sweat! Just wish they came in more colors. I machine wash in a lingerie bag in cold water and hang them to dry.
Was a gift but she loved it. Very warm appetantly
Very soft sock, a little thicker than I had thought it would be, but very comfortable.
I have not worn them yet they just arrived and they are Gray and I ordered White
