This is great!!! I'm soooo happy I have this now!!! I spend A LOT of time chopping garlic for meals and this just cut all of that time! I use garlic with just about every meal so really I needed this. At first I thought you put the garlic inside and it would chop it but it's even better than that. After placing the cloves inside you close it and twist it and that's it!!! You have perfect chopped, pressed garlic ready for your cooking needs!!! I love how it looks like garlic too, it's so cute and it's obvious what it's used for. Don't hesitate on this one! I wish I had this years ago!
I love this new garlic chopper! For years, I've shy'd away from fresh garlic opting only for the powdered version. I didn't want to deal with having to chop the garlic. This little device is so nifty! I pulled a clove from my fridge, peeled it, inserted per the instructions, twisted back & forth and VOILA!!! Fresh chopped garlic. I love this, I'm so happy! No more processed garlic for my family, only fresh ground. Yes, get it already!
This is a cute and handy garlic chopper that is shaped like a big elephant garlic. It is super easy to use and importantly, it is easy to clean. The garlic chopper comes apart into two pieces. You simply put your garlic clove(s) inside, put the top back on and twist. Your garlic is chopped and ready to go. To get the chopped garlic out you push the bottom of the chopper up and the little place where your garlic is sitting lifts up and pushes the garlic out. You can also push the bottom up to make it easier to clean. I use a lot of fresh garlic and usually it would be a tedious process chopping it with a knife. This chopper makes it a breeze to chop garlic fast.
Love this little thing! I like to cook with fresh garlic anytime I can so chopping and dicing it is something I have to do a lot when cooking for my family. Typical cloves are not that big so it's not like it's hard to do or anything, but it can be a bit tedious when you're using a lot of them in a particular dish. Tried this chopper the other day and it worked GREAT. Chopped the garlic cloves up in no time and it was very easy to use as well. It seems to chop up the pieces even smaller when you keep turning it, which is nice because it gives me some degree of control over how big or small I want the finished pieces of garlic to be in the end. Very easy to clean as well. Just rinsed it off with soap and water and it was good as new, ready for the next use (which in this house won't be long at all). Great product, definitely like this a lot.
I was so excited when I first seen this little garlic grinder! It's literally a garlic bulb that grinds garlic! A++ for design! It really looks so lovely in my kitchen. This garlic grinder also works perfectly fine for me. I noticed that I do need to lightly chop the garlic which is to be expected to fit it into the grinder but seriously all I need to do is twist to get some a larger quantity of garlic in less time which really helps when you're feeling like you are doing 10 things at once.
It does exactly what its supposed to do. you can fit 2 to 3 garlic cloves depending on the size and 1 to 2 turns and it is chopped. nice for any kitchen. at least i dnt have to peel and chop. it saves time and dont have to worry about smelly hands. easy to clean
I am very impressed by this little gadget. Normally, I grab a cutting board and chef's knife to chop up the garlic. I did grab a paring knife to remove the ends of the cloves and then placed them on one side of the chopper. I placed the other side on top and twisted back and forth. I tapped the chopper a bit to get the majority of the pieces out. After I was done, I placed the chopper in the top rack of the dishwasher. The pieces were fairly uniform in size. It did seem easier than chopping by hand.
This little device is handy if u use a lot of garlic like I do when I cook. The top removes easy and u just place the peeled garlic inside and twist, voila evenly chopped garlic! It's way easier to use this than trying to chop with an knife or grater. I love that it looks like a clove of garlic as well, very cute sitting on my counter. Works really well with little effort, very convenient if you cook a lot with garlic.
As long as you know the tricks on how to peel the garlic (put the flat edge of a knife over it and push down onto a flat surface to kind of crack it open), this product makes quick work of the chopping and dicing of individual cloves. Just put them inside, put the top on and twist. The more you twist, the smaller and more pulverized the pieces will be. The bottom slides off so it's easy to get the pieces out. I did find that some pieces got stuck in the top but a quick tap gets most of them out. Your hands don't have to smell like garlic and it doesn't have to take a lot of time with this garlic chopper, and it's cute so you can display it in your kitchen.
I mean, it's a way to chop your garlic cloves. Problem is, the garlic sticks to the top, and there is only a release to get the garlic out of the bottom. I have tried banging it but the only thing that works is to use a spatula or something and scrape the garlic out. It's fine, but there must be a better way.
