Works great in my pot. Long enough handle to pull it up. I'd rather steam my veggies than zap them in microwave.that's why i bought this steamer. Better to steam than boil veggies. You don't want to lose nutrients and get mushy veggies when you boil them.

This opens wide to fit one of my big pots or I can use it in the smaller pot. When I store it it folds up into a very small package. It comes with a center handle that unscrews for storing.

It does EXACTLY what I need it for !!👍 I I needed a bigger pot to steam my onions,,mushrooms, peppers, zucchini, summer squash . But, I didn't have a large enough steamer plate for the bottom of that pot ! This solved my problem Perfectly 👍👍

Excellent, easy to clean, works very well. It looks small, but when you open it, it expands to the size of a pressure cooker. I'm happy with the purchase.

I wanted something small to fit in my small pots to steam vegetables and it fit perfectly. It also fits well in some of my larger pots. The steamer is a keeper for me.

I have had these before and they fell apart after a very short time of use. However, this one is quite good quality. The legs on the bottom are longer than others I have used. Plus the handle in the middle will shorten/lengthen which I have never even seen before (or it can be screwed off totally if that is what you need it to do). Pleased all around!!

Precisely what I was looking for..! All the important criteria of the far more expensive steamer baskets; and a few added benefits. Great extended handle, so even the inexperienced can operate it professionally. Able to be used for extended steaming items, ie seafood, because of the extended "legs." This permits use in larger pots..with added water...and for longer steaming periods ! Great buy !

Because of the long handle lids wouldn't fit. that came off easy enough. Also, the legs were very long which also prevented it from fitting in pan. I had to brake them off.

The green plastic piece on the extender broke off the same day that I bought it. After placing the steamer in the pot it kept leaning so when removing things off of it the food only fell in the water.
