Prep Solutions Stainless Steel Hand-Held Medium Grater With Cover

I got this in the mail today, couldn't wait to use it. I've been looking at a new grater for a while and just haven't pulled the trigger to buy one. I figured I have some extra time today so why not try it out. So I grated some cheddar cheese for my omelet. Ok I know every grater should be able to do that, so I then moved on to zesting a lemon and carrots for a salad for lunch. It moved beautifully between each item. I would highly recommend this grater.

The Progressive Prep Solutions Medium Etched Cheese Hand Grater was an awesome addition to my kitchen! Before acquiring this grater, I had a larger one with different sizes of grates, but I only used the size of grate featured on this grater, so my old one was a such a waste of space! This one is not only smaller and easier to store, but so much safer to store as well! The plastic cover that comes with this grater is so convenient and super easy to slide on and off. This is much safer to have in my house with multiple children helping to put away dishes! I was also very happy with the performance of this grater! It cut through cheese so smoothly it seemed effortless! The grater was also easy to wash and dry. I was so happy to pop that lid back on and know that it won't ever cut little fingers reaching in a drawer! I would definitely recommend this convenient, safe, and high performing grater to anyone looking for a simple grater to add to their set of kitchen tools, whether they had kids or not. I am happy to give it a five star rating.

I got a hand grater and it is very sharp and very durable. Very well made and it comes with a case to slid it in . I love how it's made and you can grate cheese with it and it works so much better then the big square ones that set up . I have even used it to grate potatoes to make hashbrowns. Using this hand cheese grater it cuts the cheese and it's not so then like the square cheese grater. You actually can taste the cheese because its not so thin. Would recommend this hand grater to everyone. And I can actually put it in the dishwasher.

I've been using an old cheese grater I picked up at a thrift store and should have been retired years ago. When I used this one for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised at how effortless it was to grate cheese. It worked smoothly through the block of cheese. The handle has a non-slip rubber feel so it can be firmly grasped without slipping. The cheese was grated to a nice size - not too finely and not overly large. I like that it has a plastic cover for safety. It is flat and fits easily into my drawer.

It's easy to clean, at least if you do it right away like I do. The cover is the most fantastic thing on the planet. It snaps on super easy and with a tight fit, preventing those bothersome random touches of the blade if you want to keep it in a drawer. The hole in the handle is the perfect size to hang it on a utility hook too. The stickers came right off the back of the grater and the cover. This would be a great add on gift for the chefs in your life, or you! I highly recommend this grater!

This was a pretty standard handheld grater. I have mainly used mine for hard and semi-soft cheeses and it worked just perfectly! The blade was really sharp and it also came with a protective cover for the blade. I was able to use it to grate cheese over food at the dinner table, over pizza before putting it into the oven etc without needing to bring out a large box grater! This is a keeper!

I really wanted to like this grater and tried using it over and over in hopes that maybe I was doing something wrong. It just did not work well for me. I used it with hard cheese and garlic and neither went well. It is nice to hold, I loved the cover but something about the cutting action did not go well. I was struggling.
