Prep Solutions Thinstore Over-The-Sink Colander - 6 quart

So I received the Prep Solutions Thinstore Over-The-Sink Colander - 6 quart. The one I got was a greet color and it is collapsible. There are a few ways I use it. One, as the colander to wash vegetables. But I mainly use it to stay open in my sink for left overs to be poured into. This keeps noodles and other stuff from clogging up my sink. Overall, it's nice.

I wash and pack my fruit smoothies for the week, on Sundays. This makes it a lot easier than using bowls to soak my fruit and having to keep pouring the dirty water out and refill. I love that it's collapsible and doesn't take up much space. Collapsible kitchen ware is the best! One end is adjustable so it fits wide sinks too. It's super easy to clean and it holds a lot without sagging into the sink. It fit a whole bag of grapes, with room to add my strawberries. Definitely recommend!

I wasn't sure how it would work in a one bowl sink. Turning it front to back, it worked perfectly. It is very stable and doesn't slip off as you're working and movie around in it. It's big and that's very helpful for washing produce. I found it very convenient to dump a bag of apples in and wash them one by one and make certain I didn't miss any. It is specifically useful at the sink and mainly for washing produce. If I'm draining pasta or similar I'll use another colander. Folds flat for dishwasher and storage.

I absolutely love this strainer. I love that it can compact to fit anywhere I want it to and it doesn't take up too much space. One side of the handle pulls out so that the strainer sits on the sink and is not in the sink. As a bonus it is dishwasher safe!

Prep Solutions Thinstore over the sink colander I has a large capacity, able to hold enough vegetables for a large pot of stew. I was actually shocked at how much it could hold, and yet fold up into such a small piece for storage. The colander easily folds out and then back in, seems well made and sturdy, so should last. It has easily become my favorite colander when I am cooking a meal that has a lot of vegetables. The extension on the side is easily pulled out, and makes the colander easily fit any sink. I would definitely recommend this colander for quality, easy of use, and for performance. This is definitely a great item for any home cook.

This is a review for the Prep Solutions Thinstore 6-quart Over-The-Sink Colander in color green that has an extendable handle and can fold up to only one inch in thickness. It is dishwasher safe in the collapsed position. It also has a non-slip base and the handle extends 4.5 inches to fit over most sinks. It is also bpa-free. I found this colander to be extremely useful. Most colendars are not as useful as this one and they always seem to provide storage issues because of their round, awkward shape. This colander can collapse and expand very easily just by pushing the colander middle down to expand or pushing it up to collapse. It has three band sections that do not have holes, and it is those bands that are the collapsible pieces and work to "fold up" the layers. The extendable handle is only on one side, and the other handle doesn't expand. The colander plastic material is very sturdy and would support anything a person needs to put inside. I really do like that you can decide how deep you want this colander for your own purposes. For instance, you can leave the colander at only an inch deep, or you can push it down one layer at a time in order to fit the 6 full quarts worth based upon the size you need it. Even though the material is flexible, it is strong enough to support anything you may need strained. The holes are only in certain parts of the colander, however they are angled circles that would really help drain. The base section has the most holes and would be the most useful area. I wish that there were more holes within the plastic of the colander in order to help provide more adequate drainage. I use this colander over my sink to see how long it would extend, and I found the best way is to extend its from the back to the front of your sink. The full extended length, including the extendable handle, stretches to just under 19 and 1/2 inches in length. The width is 10 and 1/4 inches, and the full extended depth is 4 1/2 inches. I really love that this calendar folds up to only an inch in depth. It would be great to store alongside kitchen baking sheets after you are done using it. Overall I am very impressed with the versatility and size and shape of this colander. I love the ability to use only the size amount I need, and also having the ability to put the colander above the sink and not in the basin, allowing me to have more room in my sink for other things I may need it for. The only downside is the lack of additional holes to drain excess liquid, but that is a minor issue.

Over the sink colander by Prep Solutions Thinstore is a must have. I love the 6 quarts it provides. The collapse feature makes it easy to store. Vibrate color easy to find. The adjustable arm on the side to fit any sink. It's sturdy and strong. Dishwasher safe. I highly recommend this product for every kitchen.

This Over-the-Sink Coll. 6qt Colander is so awesome and was needed. I needed a colander that wouldn't take up space, got this and I'm happy. It extends well and holds on well to the sink when in use. It drains well for anything I use it for. Cleaning is also easy and quick as well. And it looks cool.

This over the sink colander is very useful, perfect for clean vegetables and fruits, but also for letting dry small kitchen tools. It is extendable, so it could fit any sink size. Great color and very easy to clean. The item arrived fast and well packaged too.

This is a convenient thing to have because it folds down if you need to conserve space. It does not fit over my sink so I still have to hold it. I think this would be good for a smaller size sink. I still like to use it because I like that it is compact and it gets the job done.
