This is fairly sturdy and offers a lot of storage - but be aware of the height (once you put your mattress on top of the slats). If you are short like I am, you will need a running start to get into bed. Also, it took quite a while to put together. Wouldn't have wanted to do it solo

Very happy with the product. Some damage happened during shipping. Contacted the company and they shipped out replacements right away. My one complaint would be that the paint/stain is a little thin. Scratches show up easily.

[...]Directions have pictures and are simple to follow. All you need is a screw driver and a hammer. It looks stylish and expensive. It is very study. If you have limited space in your home or not you will find this to be invaluable. Slides for the drawers are quiet and smooth. I made 2 alterations:1st I drilled the holes in the drawers deeper (it seemed like the boards were splitting when I put the screws in) this has no cosmetic effect on the product.2nd the bottoms of the drawers did not align properly to the slot in the front of the drawer. (I used a hammer to fix it)

as I was putting the unit together I found that all the parts went together easly and the instruion's were easy to understand. This was one unit I enjoyed putting together and seeing that it would last a long time and not come apart under a lot of use. and another good point is if I move, the bed can be taken apart and taken with me to the next home.the drawers are big and slide in and out easly. as I learn more about the unit I will get back to you with the good and bad about it. the head board is next on my list.

We were looking for a bed with storage to eliminate the need for dressers. This bed fits our needs. It arrived earlier than expected in 4 large, very heavy boxes. We needed help from our friends to get them from our porch to the foyer (don't know how the delivery man got them from the truck to the porch by himself). There were tons of pieces and not all parts were clearly marked so it took a bit of thought and scratching of heads to get it together, but we managed. Plan for a couple of hours at least. Also make sure you put the bed where you want it the first time. Won't be easy to move once it is together. Would have to remove the drawers and mattress at least. That being said, it is a lovely bed and very sturdy. The sides of the drawers are pine, and even the backs of the drawers are solid. The metal slides make for smooth opening and closing. It is tall so if you are short, may need a stool to get in the bed. Only downside was the price. We kept seeing it for under 600.00 but when we ordered it , the price was about $25.00 higher☹️ That's why it gets 4 stars instead of 5.

Some of the drawers don't close as should. Intructions weren't too clear- caused confusion and more work! Beside that it is high and nice looking after assembling everything. It has lots of space.

We needed a new bed for our small Master Bedroom. We wanted a bed that could also be useful for storage. We found this one on the internet and decided to order it. 12 additional drawers added real convenience. The simple and straight design does not waste any space in carvings or any other fancy decorations. However, the finish itself is very basic. Quality/price is very good for what the product is. It is solid, the slide drawers works well, the result is exactly what we needed. The company is reliable as what they describe (text and picture) is true. [...]pricing exact. The only thing we added is felt lining between the bed and the floor, as nothing is provided to do so. The wood would have been in direct contact with laminated floor, a risk to scratch it.

Apartment Therapy. If you need storage and still want a spacious living space, this is a great option. It was easy to put together - but does take longer than the estimates; and is much easier if two people work on it together. I recommend having a utility knife handy, as the draw grooves where the bottoms fit in are not always perfectly lined up. Also putting the last metal braces on can be a bit hard - use the existing holes, then your bed will be perfectly square. The draws slide really well and the bed is square.I would recommend not taking down your old bed until you check you have all the parts. We were missing half the hardware and it took 4 days to get it. So we were in chaos for a week. Also the 'hot' line at Pre Pac (you have to contact the manufacturer direct) is never answered - you can only leave a message or email. But the parts came and we are happy with the product so far as it holds lots of stuff and we still have a spacious bedroom.

We use this as our primary bed. We have a tuny bedroom, too small for any dressers with a queen sized bed. this was the perfect solution. it took a few hours to put together, but we had no issues with it. the drawers are a great size, and i felt the price was well worth it for the convenience and storage. As far as durability, we have had it for just over 2 weeks, and no problems.

This was an excellent purchase, the material is better than I thought it was going to be. The drawers are roomy and sturdy. ******BUT plan on using a whole day for assemply, and have an electric screw driver--------the drawers are a PAIN to put together******* When placing the drawers together you have to make sure the bracket screws are in tightly or the drawer will not move in smoothly
