Prepac WSC-4820 Sonoma Entryway Cubbie Bench, White

This bench is everything I hoped it would be. The assembly was not difficult, the color is exactly what I expected. I am using it as a window seat and it is as sturdy as I hoped it would be.

We absolutely love our entry way shelf! Super easy to put together and installation was a breeze. I would buy again. We purchased the matching hanging storage cubby as well.

My order was delivered on July 11. I was excited to receive it as it is going in my soon to be born grandsons nursery. Much to my disappointment, we could not complete the assembling because there were parts missing. To date we have still not received the needed parts :( I had no trouble following the instructions and the quality is what I expected for the price. Just wish I could finish putting the bench together.

The bench itself is good and certainly serves its purpose to help clear up clutter (shoes) in our mud room. The one complaint I have is the directions. The drawings of the pieces are not accurate; i.e., they do not show all of the holes in the wood in the diagram so you can easily put the pieces together incorrectly if you are not careful. I bought 3 storage bins for the cubbies at Target for $40 and Mainstays Microfiber Chair Pads off of Walmart.com. I also paired this unit with the Monterey Entryway Shelf so we had a place to hang our jackets and make the whole unit more functionable.

I bought this to put in a clients little girls bedroom I designed. It was heavy and sturdy but the instructions could have been a lot better...with a bit of common sense ot was not difficult to put together. Only complaint is one of the front sides did not come together completely so there was a little gap due to where the holes were predetermined. I bought this about a month ago for my front entry along with a wall mounted shelf with hooks. Works great! Bench cubbies are larger than similar products. My only complaint is the support board that runs along the front bottom snapped in 2 when assembling. This piece could be stronger. Company shipped new piece with no problems and no cost to me via Canada Post. Not UPS as indicated, so it took about 5 days go get to me.

I really like the bench now that it is set up but the assembly was awful due to the worst instructions I have ever seen! I have built all kinds of furniture in the last month and this was by far the most frustrating due to the awful directions...there are NO instructions, just pictures that are not well done either.

This bench is a joke. As my husband and I were putting it together it was crumbling on the corners cause the entire thing is made of particle board. We actually took the bench apart and I am returning it this weekend. Found another bench at a store for a little more and it's made out of wood!!

I am so sad about this bench. I saw it had so many positive reviews that I didn't even think to look at the 1-2 star reviews so I went ahead and ordered it. I went to start assembling it and holyyyyyy... the top of the bench was already sagging so back to Walmart it went to return :(.

This bench is cute but it smells really bad. It makes my entire entryway smell like feet. I cannot get the smell out. I've had it already for over a week and nothing I've done gets the smell out. I've tried sprinkling baking soda all over and leaving it on over 24hrs, spraying it with vinegar/water, dawn dish soap/water, different cleaning sprays and nothing. I absolutely hate it! I had to take it out of my house. I threw the box out after opening it so I have no idea how I can return it. Waste of money.
