[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mastermind is a fun game that makes you put thought into your next move. It is a great strategy game. I played this game when I was young and now I got the game so I can play it with my children. I like that it comes in a tin so it is easy to take along wherever you go.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have the old-school original version of this game and the whole family loves it. We got this travel version to take on a road trip, and so far we have been loving it. No need to take along a big one when there is a mini version of it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a game I haven't played since I was a kid, long ago. Let me tell you it holds up! Super challenging and keeps my kids interest. They love trying to break my. Odes or come up with unbreakable codes of their own! I love seeing their excited faces when they figure it out! Highly recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised with this game. We do family game nights on Friday. I was surprised on how well all three of my kids (various ages) was able to grasp the game and provide unique strategies to complete. If you are looking for a game that challenges all ages to thinking critically and outside of the box, this is for you.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun and a strategy game that can be played with 2 players ages 8 and up. It is very easy to learn and a quick moving game. My family loves this game and I really recommend it for fun, we take it camping with us and have game night.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently took a trip and needed something to help pass the time. Thankfully we found Mastermind. The tin makes it easy to store and the clear transparent top makes it easier on my nerves that we'll spill the pegs. This game definitely requires you to think and take your time. That's what made it great for travel. Instructions are simple to follow but the code is the biggest challenge. Especially if you have a good opponent.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mastermind is a fun game and this tin version makes it portable. It is made for two players and it involves strategy. You can make or break the codes. I am enjoying it and it is helping me to think better. You can play this for hours, if you really get into it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The game comes with gameboard with hinged cover which can also be used as a storage area, 8 different color pegs and instruction sheet. Red and white color pegs are key pegs and other six colors are code pegs. This is a travel size set and is convenient to carry it anywhere. This game is played by 2 players. The goal of the game is that the code maker sets up a hidden code on the side of the gameboard and the codebreaker has to crack the code. The codebreaker has 8 chance to break the code. This is a challenging and fun game.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter and I had fun playing this game together. It is a fun process of elimination game. It's a quick game too so it won't take the whole afternoon up. My daughter thought it was so awesome that she was able to guess my codes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this game growing up and wanted to get it for my son. We like travel versions to take on camping trips. While the game play is still the same, and the tin box is awesome, the pieces are almost unmanageable. It takes longer to try to set up than to play and trying to manage these tiny pieces is tedious, and if you drop one, well it's gone forever. We will definitely keep it in our travel stuff, but probably won't play much.
