Pressman Mexican Train Dominoes

My brother recently introduced me to this game. So much fun and entertainment-I had to have it for my family also. Walmart (a supplier I trust) provided best value: quality item (by Pressman), price (about $35.00 w/ tax), and speed of delivery (less than a 5-days) to my home. Packaged in a sturdy and colorful cardboard box, the white dominoes have deep depressions and different bright colors for the number of dots per domino. This is a game that both my 7-yr old granddaughter and 95-yr old neighbor play and thoroughly enjoy. It is easy to set up and fast paced, so multiple rounds can be played quickly while holding players' attention. Fun for the whole family! So, put down the smartphones and video game controllers, gather the entire family around the table after dinner and enjoy talk and laughter together. It will amaze you how strategy and tactics can suddenly change along with the outcome of the game. I highy recommend it!

Teaches colors, matching and counting. Perfect game for family night or game night with the in-laws or a girl's night in! Love this!!

I would recommend this game for ages 8+. I like the mini trains that you use when you need assistance and have your train available for others to play off of.

Each night after dinner we went straight to play again! This set is such high quality and even comes with little trains you can choose from as your "player," we all really enjoyed that feature. The dominoes are done in bright, fun colors. A game anyone will enjoy our youngest player was 4 years old and the oldest was almost 60 years old.

I grew up playing dominoes with my grandparents, and later in life my grandmother would talk about playing Mexican Train Dominoes with her friends and how much she enjoyed it but I had never tried it until now. It's now going to be a regular on our table for sure! This is a perfect game to play for a fun family game night or to pull out with a group of friends. The game is easy to learn as well as intuitive to play and you can play solo or with up to 8 players total. It's also really adaptable in terms of playtime as each game takes 20 minutes which is perfect for a quick game but can also be played as we did, where each game is a round and you can play a set number of rounds and total the overall score. The set itself if excellent quality. The included directions are easy to understand and the dominoes are the perfect weight as well as evenly printed, boldly colored and great overall quality. The trains are well detailed and vibrantly colored and the box is extremely sturdy so should hold up great even with a lot of use as our game will surely see!

Train centerpiece is thin plastic, dominos don't feel as smooth as others and are thinner. Beautiful box, directions a little confusing. Not all of the trains are very pretty.
