Pressman Rummikub Classic Edition - The Original Rummy Tile Game, 106 Pieces, Ages 8 and Up

I played this game years ago. When I moved, I forgot to take the game. I finally replaced it with this game as well as a smaller version, Travel Rummikub. I have enjoyed playing, and teaching this game. This review asked about the case that the game came in. Mine came in a cardboard box with 4 trays and all the tiles. No case.

The photo and description was for "Classic" Rummikub. I received the travel size, however nowherr on the box does it say it is travel. I would NEVER have purchased a travel version as I already have one. I need the classis size so I can cannibalize the pieces to replace some missing ones. This is so irritating!

If you’re looking for a mini size version of this game, then you will like it. I was under the impression I was ordering the full-size game that I had ordered before. I clicked on the link from my previous order to re-order it again and was sent the small size twice.

I didn't realize it was a travel set. That's the problem. I wanted a standard sized game. I should have realized by the price. Very thin tiles and tiny stands. Very lightweight so would work as a travel set to play in a hotel. Too flimsy to work on a train or plane .

Photo shown is not what you get. no where in the description does it say you are getting a mini version. Very disappointed. returning item. Including pics of the size of the full sized game which is pictured and the product size of what you actually get.

Bought for me and my 10 yr son to play. After looking through the rules we decided to make some house ones. First was time limit for making moves. Then being able to switch around the joker tiles as needed. These rules were changed so he would almost be interested to keep going. In the end he just wanted to quit as it was too slow and required too many tile pulls from the pile. I can see this as being a great game for adults that enjoy math and a slower pace. Also this would have been a better game with actual tile pieces either from plastic or melamine instead of thin plastic.

This item was advertised on the Walmart site as a classic full-size game. All the pictures showed full-size tiles and regular holders. When I received it it was less than half a size the box the tiles are half the size of regular and the holders are a joke Walmart allows false advertising on their sites. They should have pictures. That's actually what's in the box instead of tricking people and buying something.

Although nothing in the description says this, this game is a mini version of the classic game. If that’s what you want, it works , but it does not tell you this in the description which I classify as scammish behavior.

It would have been nice if it were labeled as a miniature size game. The box is barely larger than my hand. I was looking for a nice sturdy game to replace mine that a tile is missing. This ain’t it. I’ll be returning it.

Warning- you won’t get what you see and pay for. We ordered and paid for the full sized game. They sent a little beat up (but wrapped) mini/ travel version. Ordered this for the family, not for ants. The box front isn’t even the same as pictured. Beat up may have been in delivery, it was in a paper envelope type package, but still the wrong item.
