Had a super old presto deep fryer from my mom and it finally quit working so we bought this and it's great! Simple and works exactly as it should. Wish I would have opted for a bigger quart but great nonetheless.
I bought one about 5 years ago and I used it so much I wore it out lol. I just bought me another one. I like to steam my veggies and meat. I would definitely recommend 100%.
I love it cooks great fried chicken and fries.
Nice fryer! We use it to deep fry fish, holds about 7 filets! would recommend.
This fryer is great made chicken really crispy and delicious try it you will like it you will like it as well trust me I'm happy I bought omg
Great product! I've probably owned at least four of them over the years...great for soups
Great product, I use mine all the time never had a problem with it, I would recommend
It is a good size for two. I don't like that you cannot put the lid on it all the way while cooking. The strainer prevents this.
Used often, and it works well. Easy to clean. Glass top contains splatters while also keeping in the heat. Have not had occasion to use the insert for deep frying (I don't deep fry anything) or as a steamer. Only disappointment has been the temperature control. It is not solid. Instead it is split between cord end and thermostat dial, so it is 2 pieces held together with a magnetic. They probably thought this was a safety measure to unplug the cord should the pot get moved too far (instead of yanking on the plug at the wall). I find it a big nuisance to break apart in my hands, or disconnect when I move the pot. I epoxied the halves together to change from a 2-piece control into a 1-piece control. If the glue doesn't hold, I'll toss this Presto control, and go get another at the Goodwill (buy a used Presto product, keep the old 1-piece control, and toss the old product). I also have a Presto electric frying pan, and that control works with this cooking pot, so I could share the 1-piece control between them, but that means I couldn't use both at the same time.
To small %26 the cord could come off easy.
