Presto® 8 Qt. Aluminum Pressure Cooker

I have used Presto pressure cookers since I was a teenager and have always had one in my own household since adulthood and that has been let's just say a while. They are made of quality materials and are highly reliable when used as directed. I highly recommend the product. One last caveat: i called the company and of all things in this day and time a real live person answered the phone !! Thanks Presto.

I absolutely love the Presto 8 quart pressure cooker! It is not too big, nor too small. However, one can put lesser amounts of food or larger amounts of food in it. Just make sure to follow the instructions. I have cooked beef and pork in it so far, and they were both around 7 pounds each. After 20 minutes of cooking and letting cool, the meats were cooked done, but also to a wonderful tenderness that can't be beat from a pressure cooker!

Goes together in 5 minutes all you need is a screwdriver to install the handles.. nice looking as compared to a Phillipe Richard I had befor this one.. cleans easy.. nice easy to use pressure relief valve as compared to others.. Regret not buying this sooner.. Will buy more as gifts for friends... Great seal and safety seal indicator.. You cant miss with this one....

This Presto 8 qt cooker does exactly what you want it do, cooks fast and evenly. Well made with a good finish. You need to install the handles, but all you need is a Phillips screwdriver and its very easy. The aluminum makes it light weight and makes it cook evenly. Don't skimp on the size, you will do well with this 8 qt.

Much better compared to the Indian pressure cookers. This doesn't whistle at regular intervals but gives you a pressure sound once the food inside is cooked

I have used this size pressure cooker for many years. For me it's the best size for family of 6. This is my fourth in 62 years of marriage. We love it.

I ordered the 8 qt this time because the 6 qt is a little small for some cuts of meat. also it is great to cook greens. We love collards and they cook so tender in this cooker.

I ordered this for an elderly friend of mine. Her old pressure cooker was no longer working. She needed just the basic cooker without the digital newer models. It cooks her meat faster and tenderizes it also making it easier to chew.

I bought this pressure cooker for my mother and she loves it. Is big enough that she can cook as much as she wants and it has a dividing rack just in case you want to steam veggies or something else. It truly is a great product.
