It is a nice cage, the trays are plastic so when I ordered 2 cages, one was broken but was quickly replaced. The service people were very kind and redelivery did not take long.
Thank You so much for the beautiful bird cage . The cage was perfect and the delivery was express. I did not expect it to come so fast. I got it about two day"s after I ordered it. I love Walmart and any store that's affiliated with Walmart. Thank You so much. have to shop 621
I have one parakeet and I am thinking of a second one because the cage is roomy enough for two. The cage is easy to clean and I like that it is lightweight. I like that the cage bottom has sides that come up and catch stray seeds although some seeds manage to escape.
These are great! Nice size, contain the mess very well and the birds seem happy (I have finches.)
This is a nice cage, and the black base with black wire allows for the birds colors to POP as well as their colorful toys. It is very easy to clean, and keeps any stray seed from falling to the floor, which is REALLY nice! I feel like the bars of the cage could be a little more sturdy. They tend to bend easy when I put in the treat holders. All in all, this is a well made cage, and I really enjoy it. The top opens easily and my 2 lovebirds love it!
This is a nice cage for a small bird. I orginally received it slightly damaged but Hayneedle immediately sent me a new cage and told me to donate the old one to a shelter. I like the way they do business.
I just received my Toby's cage today and set it up. It's pretty cool, he's an original Love Bird and it gives him lots of room. He spends most of his day out of his cage and I think he will really like the outside perch on top. Real happy so far, if anything changes I'll update. Oh, almost forgot, the door seems kind of funky. Could have a better latch.
I have had this cage for 6 weeks. The door latch broke off within 3 weeks and has had to be rigged in such a way that it is inconvenient to use. The top of the cage is so poorly made that it is not square and does not fit neatly on the sides leaving odd sized gaps (not big enough for the bird but looks strange). The wires are flimsy...At 1/2 inch spacing I can put my finger in and move them. Clips for food and toys just push the wires aside and do not stay in place, especially on the top of the cage. It is used for a parrotlet so is not battered by a large bird, it is just very poorly made.
cage does not fit together after taking apart for cleaning. clamps from bottom of cage to hold cage toghether brakes off. the only good part of the cage is the bottom for catching the seeds. love that part of cage.
I inherited this cage along with a one eyed cockatiel who was starved for mental development. In less than 3 years, the cage has fallen apart. The plastic clips that hold the base of the cage to the top have broken off, so if you pick up the cage at the top, the bottom falls off. You have to pick up the cage by the base. The clips that hold the bottom shelf to the cage have broken too. The base has cracked, and the edges of the removable tray have cracked and chipped and will not last much longer. When I went looking for perches to put in it, I was astounded to find there were no commercially made ones. I used branches from the trees in the yard, but have trouble getting them to stay put. Seems the bird knocks them down all the time, even when I wedge them into the bars. The outside access doors for the feed trays are good, since he is a hostile bird. I do move him in and out when the weather is good, but have to place shade on top of the cage to protect him when the sun moves. I would not reccommend this cage. I am shopping for another one, maybe the Havana for a little more money. If the cage only lasts about 3 years, it is cheaper to go with a more sturdy one that has a great deal more room, as it is cheaper in the long run. Birds live a very long time if well cared for, so you may as well make a logical, smart investment. Your choice, [$] for a well made, large cage on wheels with storage underneath, or save a few bucks and get this [$] poorly made plastic thing that will be broken in a few years?
