Very nice bird stand. Good size. My granddaughter wanted this as a Christmas gift. She loved it.

This purchase was a 50/50 as some of these look horrible, mine however is one of the better ones, the branches are a little thick but it could've been worse, also came with a different bowl than in the photo.

First off, was easy to put together and is made from what looks like great material but... The way that the highest branch is placed, there is almost no place that the birds droppings doesn't land on some part of the playstand branches making it almost impossible to clean given the jagged nature of the wood. Picture will show where I put paper to catch the droppings since the birds enjoy the top perch almost exclusively Will be returning.

What they call a "minor crack" that does not constitute a "defect" is, in fact, a HUGE CRACK. When they inserted the screw into the base of the wood, it caused a crack. It didn't crack all the way threw, splintering the wood in 2, but it's a really significant crack. I will use wood glue to fill the crack, and the wood is substantially stable in spite of it, but luckily I don't have a big bird. However, the price of these stands elsewhere can run up to $400 so I assume that the lower price is SPECIFICALLY BECAUSE these are factory "seconds" with defects that they are NOT prominently mentioning.
