My two parakeets are very happy they don't use the bottom of the cage very often but that's okay. They haven't hushed chatting and fluttering around since they moved in! Its very easy to keep clean also.I put the cage together by myself, you may need someone to help steady the pieces. It was easy enough except for the instructions referred to pieces by number and letter (c1,e2) however the pieces themselves don't have this.

Well designed %26 built solidly but does require two people to put it together. Quality of Prevue Hendrix cage is terrific %26 my keets are enjoying more room.

Such a good deal for a great quality cage. I was able to build it myself in under an hour.

a bit tricky to put together if you're doing it alone but worth the effort.. sturdier than I thought it was going to be after opening the box.. lightweight, and easy to move around.. no latches on nest box doors so I wired them shut.. will be getting another one soon..

Honestly BEST DEAL for the money and VERY spacious. NOT for larger birds than maybe 4 Cockatiels. Purchased for Finches and rescued Blue Birds. You will surely need 2 people to help..lol..took us only 15 mins to assemble by just looking at pictures. Strongly suggest you also purchase the Coconut house for Finches at only $9 each is a great deal..they LOVE IT especially the baby Blue Birds. Shipping was very fast. Item arrived in perfect condition except for 3 banged up ends but given the weight no problems or damage to cage itself. Was really amazed at the size...much larger than expected...description spot on. Please remember to cover your birds at nite with a very dark cover..large enough to surround entire cage and to bottom of cage..this ensures proper sleep for your birds. As a vet from Europe with over 40 years experience I can honestly say I know what I'm talking about when it comes to animals. Order in confidence and rest assured this cage is awesome! Really nice sturdy birdcage. Beautiful finish. A little challenging to assemble, but totally worth the time. Fit together perfectly. I was really surprised how nice this bird cage was for the price. Well worth it!

The bird cage is spacious and big enough for 4 birds to fly around some. The only drawback to this cage is that throughout the cage it has little gates that are on hinges, but these gates do not have locks. When my birds where flying around the cage and would land on these gates with hinges, they would open the gates some. I understand these gates were designed that way for easy access into the cage since the cage is so large, but I did not feel comfortable with that at all, and had to tape all the gates so the birds could not fly out. Other than that, really nice and spacious.

I agree with the other reviews that recommend having a second person and pliers nearby. Assembly isn't complicated, it's just extremely difficult. I had to fix several pieces that came bent, force parts into place, and perform acrobatics to balance one piece while attaching two others. I kept cursing the cheap construction UNTIL it was finally put together, my pets were inside, and I got a look at the finished product. Dang, it's pretty sturdy and has a lot more accessories than I noticed before purchasing. A few weeks later and I've decided I'm keeping it.

It's a well-built birdcage, came with all the necessary parts and the instructions weren't too difficult. I built it by myself within maybe 2 or 3 hours at most. Big enough to fit my 6 budgies in with room to fly. Only downside for myself was some of the pieces were bent but fixed themselves once together.

My cage came with a cracked floor pull out,2 loose bars only holding on by one weld and the hooks on one of feeding tray were broke off. I'm not sure if this is due to shipping or the manufacturer. The size,assemblyand overall a nice cage for the money. I repaired the flaws myself, cause I called the company and got a run around wanting pictures and things I dont have time for. So this is just a heads up for future purchases.
