I chose this product with the hope it was sturdier than similarly priced cages...to help reduce the noise. It worked. The cage construction is very solid. We have a cockatiel...and there's almost no sound from him climbing around (no rattling.) The instructions were poor (the mfg should redo them.) The tiny pictures made it difficult to see small detail (such as which direction a panel should be facing). It didn't help that the parts list and the components I received were different. Also the instructions do not list which screws to use at various times during construction, so you have to excersize judgement. (The mfg calls everything a stainless steel screw.) There was no instructions on how to attach the outside seed guard...but it was somewhat self explanatory. My package was missing one of the inserts needed to attach the wheels. Fortunately I decided (out of necessity due to missing pcs) not to use the wheels. Lastly, I ordered black, but I'd swear what I received is pewter. It looks nice either way, and I don't plan on returning it. (I can't, I've got the bird now.) Despite the above short comings I am very satisfied with this product. It works great and looks nice (once assembled.)

I was in need of a new cage. Bird store cages very expensive. Took my chances without seeing this in person and couldn't be happier. Extremely easy to assemble and looks great. I purchased the silver, which is really a very light gray. Beautiful color! Safety lock on door. Tray on bottom is far from the actual bottom, which is great because my bird can't reach the dirty bottom. Every other day-change bottom to clean. Very easy to slide out and back in. Overall, great cage, great price. Very pleased. So is my bird.

This cage makes cleaning up a snap! I appreciate the built-in play area on top. I couldn't be happier with this purchase, and it is worth every penny spent. I can actually see how much my birds love their new, spacious home by their increased playfulness and increased interaction. We love to sit and watch them play, and I love that I spend less time cleaning!

The cage was very easy to assemble. directions state :easier with two people" in some of the steps. Really , you can do it alone. The quality of construction is pretty good. no missing hardware, etc. My sunconure parrot seems to have adapted to it well. casters make a breeze of cleaning around it. price - good, overall very satisfied.

Great cage for my daughter's cockatiel! Will roll through a standard doorway when fully assembled. Easy to assemble, good condition, much sturdier cage than at your average pet store, great price, happy bird! Do plan on adding additional wooden perches.

These cages are very well designed and made to last.The instructions however,are horrible.I managed to put my first one together,through trial and error.The 2nd and 3rd,were therefore,a breeze. The price is GREAT!I purchased the first for a parrot,the second and third,for my cockatiels.They are all MUCH more expensive,eleswhere,as I always check to find the best price,before purchasing a larger ticket item.

I have been needing a new bird cage for some time now and when i saw this one i liked it it was in my price range and was easey for me to put together and my cockatiel loves his new home and i couldn't be happier

This cage is beautiful and my bird loves the cage. I bought it for my english parakeet so he has lots of room. Directions aren't the best but we figured it out. It went together easily.

I was looking at getting a sun conure, this would be a pretty decent sized cage for this bird. However I decided to get an eclectus instead and needed a bigger cage. This cage came with extra nuts and screws, which is nice. However it was missing a peg for one of the rolling wheels to go into. I contacted the company to send me a new one per their slip, however two weeks went by and I never received the replacement.

I added another perch and a few toys and he loves it! I love the seed guard that helps reduce the amount of mess that gets on the floor. The large access door with safety bolt and little doors for the food and water dishes are a real plus. The wheels are nice for moving him to other rooms in the house. It is built strong and I think it will last for years. Although there was a little rust in a few external places that must have been exposed to moisture. I wouldn't put two birds in it but it is nice for one. The measurements of 18 x 18 are the outside measurements. The inside is a little smaller. Both the upper play area and the cage have nice deep slide out drawers making them easy to clean..so far. He hasn't been out yet to play on top but I'm sure he will enjoy it.
