Prevue Pet Products Rat & Chinchilla Cage

I bought this cage for my 2 pet rats. It was a snap to put together, very sturdy and larger than what I thought it would be...plenty of room for accessories. I love the pull out pan on the bottom...makes cleaning easy and it's on wheels so it's easy to move. I did a lot of research and checked reviews before I decided on this one. Even though it cost more than I wanted to spend I'm glad I made the purchase!.... I highly recommend this cage.

It perfect for my rat and not to hard to put together

okay so the first one i got was bad cause the back pegs didn't line up with the holes in the base. i decided to take a chance and get another one and i am glad i did! i have two female rats newly weaned from their mom. there is plenty of room for them to run around and play, plus a digging box for them and LOTS of toys. (they may be spoiled) i highly recommend this for anyone who plans on getting small animals.

This item was relatively easy to put together and works well for my daughter's chinchilla. It fits together nicely and has a nice powder-coated finish. Wallmart had the best price for any large cage that we could find and the cage arrived well in time for Christmas. We are very pleased.

It's sturdy, large, high quality, and has the perfect wire spacing for keeping them in, but also hanging many toys and trinkets. The platforms are solid metal and high quality. I personally took out the wire bottom and am just using the tray, but putti g the tray on top seems to work fine and it stays in place. Overall, worth the price and will serve me and my babies for many years to come!

I bought two of these cages for my pet rats. They were easy to put together and there is a ton of space for the rats to go crazy playing!

Really nice cage concerning the frame, ramps, and platforms. There are three negatives however. First, the cage wire is no where near on par with how sturdy the rest of the cage is. Many were bent right out of the box, though there was no sign of outside damage. The wires are very very thin, and feel ready to break when straightening them out. Second, the design of the door leaves a considerable gap around it which is fine for larger pets, but for rats (which this cage is also advertised for), not such a good thing. Finally, all pets that I've experienced, like to "potty" in the corners. If the tray underneath was designed just a little bit larger than the floor, it would indeed catch the urine instead of it making it's way to the floor. My cage is on a linoleum floor, but still! Fix these design flaws, and it's a ten star cage!

This cage is a BREEZE to put together. Easy instructions anybody can do it. Bar spacing is on point and perfect home for my rattos. THOUGH the box was slightly ripped nothing inside was damaged.

I bought this for my daughter to put her baby rats in. It's great! The bars are too close together for a 2-month-old female rat to get through. Good construction and apparently easy to put together since my 12-year-old put it together by herself. I'd highly recommend this as a rat cage. Plenty of room for them to play and run around.
