Had 6 chicks that needed to go outside before big coop wass finished. Perfect for the need.
The coop arrived on the delivery date scheduled. It was double boxed and all pieces were accounted for and undamaged. Two people working together can assemble the coop in less than an hour. I made a base of treated 2"" x 4"" with wire mesh stapled on the bottom for the coop to sit on. This was done to add extra life to the 2"" x 2"" framing. I also added stronger latches to the door in the front and the side door. The latch for the nesting boxes is sufficient. The finished coop looks nice in the backyard. I will add an extra 3 feet of run as my chickens mature. Unless one intends to let their chickens run free during the day, I would not keep more than four full size birds in this coop.
It is a cheap product that requires another coat of sealant extra scews and cauking, but much less expensive and time consuming than making one from scratch. Remember how little you paid seal it up and enjoy.
I wish I had realized how small this coop was for the money.. Wood pieces were split into and others would not fit together properly.
Really cheap building materials. Numerous splits in the wood required a lot of additional gluing. Coop design does lend itself to easy cleaning.
Recommend you don't buy this coop. Cheap materials, came with broken pieces. Not worth the price. I'd rather build a box [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This coop has to be re-enforced with your own hardware. It constantly falls apart. Cheapest and poorest engineering. They certainly saved a buck or two when putting this idea together. I would never buy from this manufacturer again. Not worth the money.
Very disappointed. I do not see anyway to keep 4-6 chickens in that doll house with a gate. I should have never ordered online , I should have went to see it before I decided. My fault for not making sure it was what I thought it was.
would put in. I have 6 hens and they all sleep on the top of the coop because there is no room inside.
it is nothing but junk only good for 2 or 3 chickens .
