I love the taste, but I wish they would slice it thicker. This order, the cheese was as close to shaved as it could be and I had a hard time putting it on a slice of bread. Walmart, could you put a way to get the thickness of deli meat and cheese on the online order option?
This Colby Jack hits exactly what you want from deli-sliced cheese. The flavor is smooth with just enough sharpness from the jack side without overpowering the colby. Texture is soft and consistent, not rubbery or dried out like some pre-sliced options. Slices separate easily, which matters when you're making quick sandwiches or stacking for melts. It melts evenly and doesn't turn greasy, so it works well for grilled cheese or burgers. Packaging kept everything fresh, and there was no excess moisture or sticking.
My favorite kind of cheese and thus brand has a great flavor and melts nice and stringy like real cheese should. I like that they print the ingredients on the sticker. If they actually slice it right you can easily crumbke and sprinkle on top of frozen pizza for and extra cheesy topping. Ordering online a ¼Lb I've been getting more then that and chraged for more (usually ⅓Lb) And a few times i got literally 5 super thick slices. But it's still a great cheese. I suggest rebagging it or double bagging the deli bag jt comes in to keep it fresher longer.
same thing as my comment regarding the American Cheese....sticks together and is very hard to get apart. Ive been unable to use it for a sandwich. ( same thing with the American cheese. I end up breaking off pieces and putting it on crackers. hope you can fix this issue. thank you.
I order this cheese on a regular basis and generally very happy with it! This time the slicer did not separate the slices so they can not be removed from stack of slices easily and in one piece! Just not the usual service I am accustomed to from the Deli!
I was excited to see that my Walmart was carrying deli meat and cheese, the same brand I usually have to buy from Kroger. I ordered half a pound of Colby jack. There were 6 slices in the package. Considering I've ordered the exact same cheese from elsewhere, I can tell you six slices does NOT equal half a pound. And from the other reviews I've seen, this isn't new. You're not getting the amount you're paying for.
the only thing that i disliked was that the store couldn't tell people that they was having issues and couldn't fulfill delivery orders until you message customer support about it... fix it walmart...show us what it looks like... kinda hard when i never got it
It may just be because I did not pick out the item. When it was delivered, I opened to make a sandwich and the cheese was literally in crumbles. I grabbed a couple pieces to nibble on and did not taste as normal. It was a waste of money. Almost impossible to make a good sandwich with all the crumbles falling out. I will not buy this cheese again without looking it over first.
once again whoever is slicing the cheese is slicing it way too thin I'm ordering online so I don't know how to tell them to cut it a little thicker to make for sandwiches again this was a waste all the cheese was stuck together and you couldn't separate it to make sandwiches and they didn't put paper in between the slices another mess and can only be used for sauce now
Requested amount somehow was indicated here, as 0.5 lbs., and was received as 0.285 lbs. When I ordered it online, it was assumed to be a full pound of sliced cheese which was what I expected. I was increasing my order to meet the $35 minimum for the Walmart free delivery criteria since my eleven or so Rx prescriptions couldn't be combined into one order to include my OTC daily vitimins and therapeutic aspirin without being under the $35 minimum for a separated delivery of my normally needed medications.
