Did not realize that it was turkey because the label was covered with a sticker and it looked like chicken. I wasn't familiar with this so I gave it back to the driver. My original order was oven roasted turkey, sliced. I would have kept it had I known it was “turkey.” (Please forgive me, I am new at this)
this peppered turkey was outstanding! it didint last long in my house! for a "lunchmeat" i feel it is better than the prepackaged ones. seems very fresh and not as processed if that's possible. tons of flavor ! i heated it up in a skillet with a little butter to give it a crispyness and added some pepperjack cheese and grilled onions on a toasted hoagie roll. delicious!
I thought the lunch meat was tasty. I only have two issues I guess. I wish the lunch meat would have been sliced a little thinner, although I could avoid that by going into the store next time and by the time I received it, I only had 3 days to eat it.
This is the absolute best turkey on the market. I'm so glad I grabbed one to try...it's not something I'd usually get. It has a great flavor and is sliced to give a decent piece for your sandwich. The pepper comes through just enough to let you know it's there! Absolutely delicious. This will always be my go-to lunch meat. Hands down
I have never had a more daggum delectible meat in my all of the 57 years I been livin' in my trailer park. I invited Nancy from lot 12 over for some cracked pepper turkey with brown gravy and she was so impressed we are now engaged. Thank you, Prima Della. I owe you my life.
I originally had ordered another kind and it was unavailable and they substituted this instead and I actually like it better than the kind I was originally going to buy. It's got a good "real turkey" texture and taste, unlike the water loaf types of deli turkey. The pepper seasoning added a nice flavor. Made a good sandwich. I will buy this again from time to time. A bit expensive but I think most deli meats are here in 2026.
I never received the item so I can't tell you how it tasted . I didn't get a refund because I didn't check the box that it was missing because I thought I had it. I had 12 perishable items refunded that were missing I didn't check this one but it was missing too. I received none of my perishable items. It was my fault for not double checking my order.
Firstly the wetness is almost as off putting as the colour, it is marbled through with unnatural orange. Never have I seen an orange turkey breast. After drying it off on paper towels I found the texture still not quite right and the flavour just okay for a sub with other strong flavours but I wouldn't try it in a club or milder sandwich. Prima Della pre-sliced is a complete waste of money it may be cheaper than a good brand but if it doesn't taste good what's the point.
The turkey I ordered was one day before expiration date, I don’t know who picks these items or looks at the dates or anything. This is terrible three items I’ve had to ask for refunds because of poor quality or the fruit that I bought was rotten. I’m not happy and this turkey one day before expiration date there’s no way I can eat that much turkey in one day.
This would have been wonderful if it wasn't expired the date on the package was April 9. And it was delivered to me on the 12th of April.. The person who did the shopping should have noticed or ask if it was ok. Some people do not mind out dated items but my stomach is sensitive and I am not willing to take the chance. the meat did not smell right.
