This is my favorite deli meat. Has a great taste. Also love that it's not sliced too thick. It is very aggravating to order online from Walmart's deli case and get super thick meat, for example, four slices for a quarter pound. That's crazy and too thick. Thick deli meat makes for a tough sandwich. That's why I started ordering this particular turkey. Because it's pre-sliced at a normal thickness and it's high-quality meat. Don't have any reservations about ordering this because you're worried about it being too thick. This kind is pre-sliced at a normal thickness. It does have a peppered exterior, but it's not too hot. It just supports a really nice flavor to the meat. Doesn't just taste like plain old turkey. And sometimes turkey deli meat can be watery and slimy in texture. This is not watery or slimy it has a really excellent texture. There's also no weird gristly bits or anything in the meat. I'm very sensitive to that, so you can count on this being good.
Did not realize that it was turkey because the label was covered with a sticker and it looked like chicken. I wasn't familiar with this so I gave it back to the driver. My original order was oven roasted turkey, sliced. I would have kept it had I known it was “turkey.” (Please forgive me, I am new at this)
this peppered turkey was outstanding! it didint last long in my house! for a "lunchmeat" i feel it is better than the prepackaged ones. seems very fresh and not as processed if that's possible. tons of flavor ! i heated it up in a skillet with a little butter to give it a crispyness and added some pepperjack cheese and grilled onions on a toasted hoagie roll. delicious!
I'm not one to rave about deli meat, but this brand tastes very flavorful or fresh. None of that weird texture and artificial taste most deli meats have. The difference was so impressive, I won't buy any other brand from now on. It's also affordable. I highly recommend.
Where to start? The taste/flavor and perfect thickness of this is outstanding. It's a bit pricey, but the quality is very good/excellent. If you have been buying the Great Value Turkey, you are in for a treat, albeit a bit more expensive one. I feel that in weight, 1 slice of this is >= 2 or 3 slices of the Great Value version and could actually turn out to be a wash pricewise... Thanx for reading, Brian
I originally had ordered another kind and it was unavailable and they substituted this instead and I actually like it better than the kind I was originally going to buy. It's got a good "real turkey" texture and taste, unlike the water loaf types of deli turkey. The pepper seasoning added a nice flavor. Made a good sandwich. I will buy this again from time to time. A bit expensive but I think most deli meats are here in 2026.
It didn't last very long in the refrigerator. It was dated only about 5 days. I also was not a fan of the seasoning on this lunch meat. It's personal taste but I didn't lie. It asked for my opinion. So there you have it. Too little for too much in MY opinion
I never received the item so I can't tell you how it tasted . I didn't get a refund because I didn't check the box that it was missing because I thought I had it. I had 12 perishable items refunded that were missing I didn't check this one but it was missing too. I received none of my perishable items. It was my fault for not double checking my order.
Firstly the wetness is almost as off putting as the colour, it is marbled through with unnatural orange. Never have I seen an orange turkey breast. After drying it off on paper towels I found the texture still not quite right and the flavour just okay for a sub with other strong flavours but I wouldn't try it in a club or milder sandwich. Prima Della pre-sliced is a complete waste of money it may be cheaper than a good brand but if it doesn't taste good what's the point.
The turkey I ordered was one day before expiration date, I don’t know who picks these items or looks at the dates or anything. This is terrible three items I’ve had to ask for refunds because of poor quality or the fruit that I bought was rotten. I’m not happy and this turkey one day before expiration date there’s no way I can eat that much turkey in one day.
