tastes wonderful I just wish they would slice it the way I ask it to be sliced, I don't mind paying the cost of it but when you wind up throwing it out because you can't eat it due to it being sliced way too thick it's not worth it.. but that's not the products fault it's the deli workers not giving a crap
This is the second-best chicken deli meat you have ever had. The number one has always been the Backyard BBQ chicken deli meat, but you no longer sell it. However, the price of deli meat is astronomical, and I can rarely afford to buy it anymore. I asked for a half pound of this. I got 4 slices for $6.40. The weight of it speaks to the quality, and that it is not a chemical-laden, air and water-filled, spongey light texture, but 4 slices for $6.40? That is outrageous.
This are very good chicken slices but I wish you made a lower salt version. I sometimes use a slice or two on a small salad and that makes a full meal with nice protein. Very good, but the salt quantity is a little high. Please consider making a lower salt version. Thank you.
The food delivered was exactly as I had ordered it. The produce was selected well. The baked goods were all baked today. The prepared foods were hot, at least warm. I couldn't be happier, and the delivery was within four minutes of the estimated time given. Can you beat that Walmart, you're doing a great job. If Jeff Bezos isn't careful, he's gonna lose a substantial market share to Walmart and it's excellent service. Add a boy guys!
I think it's pretty good but prefer thicker slices like I can get at other stores that are not as big or busy as Walmart but I'm dealing with it ! “ it is what it is “ until I get tired of pulling apart the thin slices that fall apart as you're separating
I've ordered this since COVID, and would normally recommend except for the way the butcher (?) slices it at the Westwood Walmart in Westwood, KS. It is sliced so thin now that it's impossible to remove one slice from another - so you just have to peel bits and pieces off the stack. It's infuriating.
I'm only going to recommend this if you know what you're getting. I foolishly thought it would be actual roasted sliced chicken breast. It is not. It's just like other chicken products that you can buy in packages in the refrigerated section. Apparently they somehow get “chicken” that they form into what look like slices of meat. But one bite will tell you that it isn't sliced meat at all. It really just dissolves in your mouth with no chewing necessary unlike real chicken meat. It doesn't taste too bad but the lack of texture is very off putting to me. And just exactly what IS the source of it? As long as you know you're getting a chicken “product” and not real chicken breast I will recommend it.
I would recommend this deli meat, but only if you don't care how thick it is. My family prefers super thin sliced deli meat and because we can't note how we prefer it to be sliced, it came sliced so thick that no one would eat it. So we will never order it from Walmart again. Sad because we do 90% of our grocery shopping at Walmart. We still love Walmart though!
Very disappointed this time. The “meat” was like powder. No able slices. Very confused what caused this. Could not make a common sandwich. So crumbled har to keep between the bread. Should have got money back. But Walmart wouldn't give my money back on a full order left at another house. My husband walked up road looking for hose in photo. Found it and owner came out and said he gets so many orders my husband had to load up and bring home. Thankful because while on phone with Walmart office they said unrefundable. But hubby came in door saying I found it. UNACCEPTABLE.
I wish they would cut it thicker. It literally has to be torn apart in chunks. Wayyyyyy too thin. Everytime I order it online it arrives like this. I'd rather pay to go to the store and actually have it cut better. They KNOW how thin and unworkable it is. C'mon Deli... Do better
