The best hard salami I've ever had! Super fresh and great flavor. I bought this on a whim. I remember eating the packaged Oscar Meyer brand many years ago and I was in the mood for something other than turkey or ham. I got this and it is. Ow my favorite sandwich meat!
I don't usually leave reviews, but I had to come on here to review this. I've been ordering this same stuff to make Italian subs for years, and I have never in my life had such flawlessly evenly cut, thinly sliced, and nicely packaged up deli meat in my life. whoever you guys got working the deli really has pride in what they do and I have to respect the effort put in, because I definitely noticed. y'all should be proud
Shar-cute-a-ray or Char-cut-a-ree or fancy lunchable? This is a great addition to your appetizer platter. It's not too spicy 🥵. It sometimes has a greasy mouth feel, but it varies from batch to batch. You can have it sliced to whatever thickness you want.
Comparing it to Boars Head, no contest. Boars Head wins in all categories. I found this salami slightly grainy and salty. I'm surprised because Prima Bella's other deli products are good. I wish Walmart would carry Boars Head or my all time favorite, Hebrew National Salami made with 100% beef. This is still a good buy.
It's always cut pretty thick which is fine. Nothing is perfect. This week, the edges were oxidized and brown color which means it might be fine but it might not. I threw it out and can't risk getting sick. I should have taken a picture but just tossed it.
Please explain to whomever cut the deli salami that you need to take off the plastic film on it because once you have sliced it it is very difficult to get that off of each individual slice. I am now having to take it off of each one and this is a inconvenience.
I am so sick of Walmart cutting the salami so thick for delivery orders. just because we aren't there doesn't mean they shouldn't be cut at a REASONABLE thickness. it's too thick for daily lunch and especially for party trays. I don't see any reason to cut it this thick
NONE OF THE 4 MEATS I ORDERED TODAY WERE SLICED THE WAY I REQUESTED. I HAVE THROAT CANCER AND CANNOT EAT IT UNLESS THE DELI MEAT IS " SHAVED" I SPOKE WITH GLENN FROM WALMART CUSTOMER SVC AND HE WROTE IT DOWN AND ATTACHED THE NOTE TO "SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS". I SPENT $300.00 ON THIS ORDER AND THIS IS JUST NOT GOOD. I NEED FOR IT TO BE FIXED PLEASE. IT NEVER HAPPENS WHEN IT IS DELIVERED TO ME TWICE A MONTH.
Whoever packages my meat always puts the price sticker over the zipper to the packaging. I always end up tearing the packaging and the zipper won't unzip, totally defeating the purpose of the ziplock packaging. PLEASE DO NOT PUT THE PRICE STICKER OVER THE ZIPPER EVER AGAIN. Other than that, the meat is delicious and very reasonably priced.:) thanks for allowing me to share.
I'm tired of ordering deli items especially salami and asking for it to be sliced extra thin and getting these big THICK slices. I mean it's ridiculous. Maybe some deli workers need to be retrained. Also when someone orders a pound of cheese it should have some paper in between so it's not all stuck together and impossible to separate without the cheese all breaking apart. It's super frustrating. The only reason I'm been having my food delivered is because I broke my foot and can't drive or I'd come in and shop for myself. I know it kinda falls on the shoppers as well but I do put exactly how I want my deli items cut and that gets me ignored as well
