This is really close to Boar's Head deli turkey. I usually order this when I get a grocery delivery. Since the closest walmart to me is a little bit of a food desert except for frozen and non-perishables I was glad to see there's another WM a little further away that has plenty of produce /meat and other items that will still deliver to my area. The delivery people are on time and very nice. The shoppers really try to get the stuff and follow the substitutions. Anyway back to the turkey, it is pretty good and it's fresh enough; it did not go bad shortly after purchase. The price is better than at the typical grocery store as well.
This lower sodium turkey is the best by far that we have tried. I would purchase this over any other deli turkey (even regular slicedc turkey). The taste is really great, the texture is very good. You can have it sliced any way you'd like. It is an outstanding product. The price is a little high, but comparable to most deli meats. With that being said, the quality makes it worth it.
To me, this Prima Della Low Sodium sliced Oven Roasted Turkey Breast is Super Delicious! It tastes like an actual turkey breast! Maybe because I see they use minimal ingredients in making it! I LOVE that there is no garlic flavor, because I am not a fan of anything garlic! From now on, this is my FAVORITE go-to product for Turkey Breast!!! Thank you Walmart!
There is no way of asking for thinner slices on walmart . We are always getting thick slices, hence less slices for sandwiches. None of us like thick slices of meat, so we won't be ordering any deli meats through Walmart again. Thanks for the opportunity to leave feedback
I'm guessing that they're just pulling presliced pkgs of deli products out of the case now, because I ordered a half lb(.50 of prima della low sodium turkey and only received .30lbs of sliced prima della low sodium turkey, if i wanted presliced, I would have ordered it. The delivery shoppers need to know the difference between the products they're shopping for, for example last time I ordered slicing tomatoes and got small puny Roma tomatoes instead.
I am so tired of having to re-bag my deli items. The problem is your deli workers put the label right over the sliding opening so I have to cut that off and put mine in my own plastic bag because I can't get it out. Would you please tell them that I'm sick of it?
I wish there was a comment section to where you could leave instructions. I would love to have had this sliced at an eighth of an inch thick. But what it was delivered at is fine\n It's a very tasty product. And it lasts a while. It doesn't automatically expire within a couple days of receiving it like other things do.
Decent quality smoked turkey breast. Only problem is how Walmart overcharges on all deli meats / cheeses / foods compared to most other grocery chains especially on their own products?? Prima Della is not better than any other luncheon meat so why charge more???
The prima Della turkey is OK. When ordered online, the deli cut it almost like turkey steaks. It is too thick to enjoy on a sandwich and there is no choice involved selecting thickness. It's too bad because I won't order cold cuts anymore because they always come so thick from Walmart deli.
Don't even think about ordering this because the driver won't bother standing in line to get it for you and just tell you there was not attendant. It's happened to me too many times and then the driver usually says they can't speak English to understand you.
