It tasted fine. I thought the slices broke apart too easily. I used it for sandwiches with whole wheat bread and mayonnaise, with an onion slice. I liked it. The package it came in easily resealed itself with minimal trouble to me. It was sliced thick enough for me. I suppose it could be put into wraps, but I like sandwiches better. You could eat it for dinner, but I usually ate it for lunch.
this is like actual chicken breast compressed and sliced. it's not like the pre-packaged lunch meats that are processed. it was $2 less. i wish it had of stayed less. now i won't be able to afford it much longer. it's heck being on a low fixed income. oh, it has more protein than others also.
I have always been a turkey lunch meat person but decided to give this a try and it has become one of my regular go to deli meats. The flavor is absolutely amazing and the texture is really nice as well. One of the things that keeps me coming back is that it is lower in sodium than a lot of other lunch meat options out there, which is important to me. It tastes fresh and satisfying and holds up great in a sandwich. If you have been sticking to turkey out of habit like I was, branch out and give this one a shot. You might just find yourself a new favorite.
I buy this pretty much every week. It's a little pricey in my opinion. I buy it because it's the only oven roasted chicken and it has no extra seasoning on it. They seem to run out of it from time to time. I'm on a high protein diet and it's one of my go-to's.
the deli chicken is great however it was sliced so very thin that I could not pick up one slice please have your staff consider cutting the meat like they would like to eat it it was all bundled together wrapped up tight and folded over and have to just take it off in little strips I was very disappointed
This deli meat is very good. I always got the low sodium turkey breast of Prima della but they were out of it so I somehow came upon the Prima della chicken breast and it's very tasty for a change and also is fairly low in sodium, even though it isn't labeled as such. I would recommend this for sandwiches or to add to salads, etc. Thanks, Walmart for carrying this brand!
I love the product. However, I wish that I could order it in a "slice thickness" instead of just getting whatever they decide to slice it at. Also I would like to see it packaged better; I like the zipper pouch, but sometimes they stick the label over the opening and the bag tears when the label is removed. Lastly the meat sometimes get packed together and it comes out in pieces instead of slices. Chicken and turkey seem to be the worst, while ham and other meats do not appear to have these issues as much.
I had to throw this out. It didn't taste or smell right. I think it may not have actually been the Prima Deli brand. I've ordered it before and it has always been tasty, but not this time. I didn't even feed it to my dog because I thought it might make him sick in the night. I'm definitely requesting a refund!!!
prima della is usually great but this doesn't taste like anything! My dog wouldn't even eat it! I had to throw the whole pound away. I've had to do that with a lot of Walmarts deli meat. It's pretty bad when your dog turns his head away. I've thrown at least 10 pounds of deli meat away in 5 months.
Whom ever cut the deli meat had. I idea what they were doing! The slices were overly thick! Placed in the bag haphazardly. Pieces were half cut filed and broken and all over the place. This isn't the first time it was like this. But this is the last time I will purchase for Walmart! The bag was filled with liquid that was slimy! Beyond disappointing Didn't realize I could post pics. I will definitely remember that for the future
