As an older (70) white American woman one would think going to customer service desk at a Walmart wouldn't be a degrading experience. This is not the first time I've been refused help at the customer service desk. When I arrived at the counter, nobody in line, there were 3 young black girls and 1 man. I had to interrupt their chitchatting trying to return a product, in a Walmart bag with my Walmart receipt attached. I had an OTC product that made me minutes away from going to the ER and just wanted to get my big $10.55 back. I was literally in tears after the big man in a loud voice refused to help and told me to go to the pharmacy. The pharmacy told me to go to customer service. ZERO communication .. and they went back into their little huddle of chitchatting. This is the 3rd time I've been treated unprofessionally at this store. Publix customer service is always helpful… WHY does the Walmart location make people feel stupid and unworthy of help. This is my 2nd time addressing this and my next step is calling Corporate to see how to get help.
