It's exactly what I wanted. Fits on my countertop. Works well. Doesn't leak like some people said. The wooden base I have some trouble getting all the screws to screw all the way in. But I am not using it anyway, it doesn't fit on my counter, so it doesn't really matter, since I don't need it. Probably it's my lack of expertise anyway. I am happy with the ceramic water container.
Likes: we were able to buy the correct table this time and it fits perfectly on top. We had one of these cisterns in Minnesota 5 years ago and loved it. Since Primo already filters the water, this allows us to not have to filter it further. The base holds about 2 gallons of water and the jugs, although heavy, are easy to replace. The only thing I dislike is the price. $43 is a bit pricey for something so basic.
I can't believe EVERYONE in the Desert Southwest doesn't have one of these water dispensers! I can get a 5 gallon refill for $1 down the street here in Yuma, which tastes 3000% better than regular water. So having a gravity dispenser like this one is a MUST. It's sturdy and good looking, too!
The holes on the round plate of the stand do line up, put the long center screw in first and spin until they do. Stick your hand in the ceramic pot, hold the spout with the other and HAND TIGHTEN the plastic nut on the spigot, it works just fine. Very happy, quality piece and on sale.
Can't wait to use it. Bought replacement parts off Temu, like a new dispenser part so the neck of the bottle isn't sitting in the water. Will be buying a new stainless steel spigot. Until these parts come in then I will set it up and use it. Fast delivery.... Thank you
This product would be a lot better if I didn't have to go through primo water to purchase the empty water jug to use it. the crock is sold online but it doesn't state that you can't purchase a universal three gallon jug. It made for quite a few headaches.
Not sure if I would recommend or not... it's space savvy and very easy to use, however, as a woman, lifting that 5 gal jug into the top has been challenging. Also, the nozzle has always randomly leaked based on the positioning. It's doing its job now, but i would not recommend as a permanent solution.
It's a bit smaller than expected. It would probably work ok for a 3 gallon or smaller water bottle but it's not stable enough for a 5 gallon bottle. The plastic ring that goes on top of the crock is very loose fitting and allows too much movement of the bottle. The little stand is ok and assembles easily.
Make sure when you receive item that you check the spout to make sure it doesn't leak. I tightened it and it stopped leaking. I found out the hard way, lol. We came back to a counter full of water. Yikes!!!
Leaks around the spout. Requires you to twuse the spout 360 degrees clockwise to stop the leaking but as you continue to use it, it just becomes loose and begins leaking again.
