A gentle whistle toward a great cup of coffee.
So far, it's a really nice tea kettle with a gentle whistling sound. I compare that to the "train whistle" sound of my previous tea kettle. The red color and interesting design adds a nice splash of color and decorative style to an otherwise plain beige kitchen.

This is a well made and beautiful kettle. I have a home full of tea drinkers and this kettle is very durable.

Love it!
I was heating up water in microwave for coffee, tea, etc. Then I thought duh...why not get a tea kettle like my Mom used when I was growing up. This one works great, nice whistle, easy to keep clean. I highly recommend it.

Primula Avalon 2.5 qt tea kettle
Nice color brushed red. Lightweight, spout locks when pouring, ok but not used to that feature (a little clumsy). It is seamless, that will help, but stainless steel will eventually rust. I have been emptying it and letting it dry between uses, but that is kind of a pain, probably won't keep that up. It is coated on the inside, so all in all, well made & cute. My biggest complaint is that the whistle is very whimpy, I can hardly hear it unless I am right beside the stove.

Excellent and very helpful for prospective buyers.
Very disappointed with this kettle! The lid was very, very difficult to take off at first and now the lid will not come off at all. Have to fill the kettle using the spout which is unwieldy and awkward and just one big pain to fill. The finish is chipping now also. Too many things wrong for the price which is too high for this kettle.

Lid Is Extremely Hard To Take Off
The lid is so hard to get off! I was very disappointed in this tea kettle and I do not recommend it!

Inside of the kettle is peeled off in one week
the inside of the tea kettle started peeling after 1 week of use! And when we tried to return it from Walmart, we were provided a fedex label that no one will take... we don't live near a fedex dropoff and the box is too large to put in a receptical if we did. We had trouble contacting walmart customer service to ask for a USPS label instead to ship back out item. The USPS label never came! We feel quite ripped off from this experience.

The teapot arrived broken. It was not packed properly. No padding, nothing. It made me question the quality of the teapot and Walmart shipping policy
