I read the directions and fill it with hot water first. I brew the coffee and it's been perfect for keeping it hot! The reviews had me wondering if I made a mistake…it's better than the glass lined carafe I was using before! I love it!

It keeps the tea nice and cold. I've also put hot tea in it during the colder days, and the tea stays hot. It's great for both iced and hot drinks.

I like that it's not bulky at all and can sit easily on the back eye of my stove top. It is double wall vacuum insulated and will keep my coffee at my preferred temp for the four hours as it states. I haven't used it for any cool products yet but I'm confident it would do the same. The classy black matte look fits my decor perfect and it's a stylish design for any decor. It has an easy to pour spout that isn't messy at all. Just super easy to use. I like that it's stainless steel, making it more durable in the long run to last. It holds 50 ounces so it holds quite a bit. The best choice for a carafe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the look of this carafe, from the matte black finish to the the faux wood design of the lid. It's got a nice heft to it and feels like it's very solidly constructed. Vacuum-sealed walls which is standard for these kind of products, but also means no dishwashers. I don't need something that keeps the contents hot all-day - it's only a 50 ounce capacity - but it works just fine for a handful of hours. It's also good to use to keep stock or broth warm for a risotto or similar dish which can free up a burner on your stovetop.

My 2nd and 3rd cups of coffee taste almost as fresh as my 1st cup. The spout pours evenly and the stainless steel inside keeps your coffee hot and fresh.

I fill it up with cold water or hot coffee and it works and last for a long time during the day. It's very sleek and stylish with a nice light weight to it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently got this thermal carafe and have been pleasantly surprised with how well it keeps liquids temperature. I mainly use it with hot water and it has consistently keep water in it hot/very warm for at least 5 hours at a time. Definitely follow instructions by initially preheating it with hot water though, 5 to minutes before you put in the actual hot water.

this crafe looks nice....but doesn't keep coffee hot ,i put hot water in let it sit while coffee is brewing , put hot coffee in and 1 hr later coffee is warm not hot..dissapointed for sure.
