This is the only kettle left where you place your hand farthest from the spout and the spout opens using a lever at the bottom of the handle. Because you place your hand farthest from the spout there is a lower risk of being scalded by the steam coming out of the spout either from opening the spout or when pouring hot water. I think I will buy another one before it disappears from the market.

Of all the tea kettles for sale, I bought this one because of the handle! I dropped the lid to my last one and the handle broke! The handle on this one will be easier to handle and hopefully won't break as easily!

It's a great size and I love it! The only bad thing so far is that the top smells of chemicals

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always wanted a teapot and when I saw this one I jumped on it. Great looking tea pot that whistles when the water starts to boil. Very simple but elegant design that I will just leave on my stove top. Easy care instructions. My only one gripe about the tea pot is the drying instructions. When you wash it and it's time to dry you can leave it upside to dry or hand dry it with a towel. When you leave it to air dry some water pools up because there is a tiny lip where the lid goes which doesn't completely dry. So it's kind of inconvenient to have to hand dry it completely after hand washing it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this kettle! It works great, the release button is easy to get to and the lid pops off easily for filling. And- it whistles! I've gotten a couple of kettles that don't really whistle, so I am happy for this feature. I leave my kettle out since we use it daily and this is super cute and looks great.

I like the style, balance, comfortable handle that stays cool, and overall quality of the kettle. But because the lid for the pour spout doesn't stay open, I'm most likely going to return it. I like to leave the burner on low with the water staying hot, but don't like to hear the constant whistle, hence my preference for the option to keep the spout open. If that's not important to you, then I highly recommend this kettle. Enjoy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really enjoying this kettle. It heats up quickly, has a soft handle that doesn't get hot, a nice soft whistle, and it's easy to clean. I think it's pretty enough to leave out on my stovetop! I think I could put it in the dishwasher if I wanted, which is also a bonus. I know there are prettier kettles out there but this one is simple and looks great. The only reason I removed one star is because the stainless shows a lot of water spots and I am constantly buffing it clean. But that doesn't take away from the quality and fiction.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice size teakettle but the issue I have is the opening lid. You hit your fingers on the handle and it's not easy to remove. Because of this it's hard to pour water into it as the handle doesn't move. I love the idea of the whistle especially when your not in the kitchen and you can hear it.
