I purchased a different paddle first. Recommended by someone I play with. I tried it and thanks to Pickleball Central and their return policy, I wasn't stuff with a paddle that didn't work for me. I called and asked for some help on getting a paddle that would work for me. I was asked questions and they recommended the Spectrum paddle. After a few times playing with it, I love this paddle. Thanks PC for the help and will definitely purchase from you again!
This is the third paddle I have played with in the past six months and it has upped my game significantly. I believe it is the enlarged sweet spot which gives me better control for defensive shot placement. My confidence level has improved and so have my defensive skills. Can't comment on spin control since I am still working on placement.
I would like to tell you that with my vast experience, I tried and loved this paddle. Unfortunately, I am more of a beginner/intermediate, struggling with consistency on my strategy and strokes. I have no idea if this paddle has made me a better player, but I am not embarrassed to play with it! Good graphics. Can hit both hard and soft shots......
First, the paddle is well balanced, has a large sweet spot, and has a solid feel on hits. I am able to generate a lot of spin on the ball. Overall, an excellent paddle at this price point. Secondly, great customer service. After approx 1 year, my paddle broke above the handle. Pickleball Central quickly sent me a replacement paddle.
My paddle broke at the top of the handle while playing. Called Pickleball Central. Took pictures of the paddle, emailed to them, and a few days later a new replacement paddle appears at my door. Thank you for the great service. Yes even though I broke the first Prince paddle after 6 months I still love this paddle. Even more than my Selkirk S2 that cost twice as much..
I’ve been playing for nearly three years and really like the Selkirk Paddles. But I must say that this paddle really does have the largest sweet spot and has helped me keep the balls in play longer! Love it!
I love this Prince paddle. The small grip and light weight works well for me. It has a good sweet spot. The people at Pickleball Central were very helpful.
The Prince paddles are the best, they have an all around comfort and feel to them ,lots of power and they look good, with a great sweet spot,i have several other paddle brands and i keep going back the Prince paddle cause it has the best feel to it.
I was looking for a paddle with a thin handle with emphasis on control. It handles exactly as described.
This was my first paddle. I can see me upgrading in the future. It plays well, but other players have let me use their paddles which have more reaction on them, like spin and lighter. NOT that this is a bad paddle. I guess it all depends on your level of play and what you are looking to do with your game.
