Very good movie. It reinforces ideas of none of us are perfect and how horrifying we can make things believing we're right.

The performances of Hugh and Jake are exceptional! But ca. I just say the cinematography is so good to look at! I was amazed by it.

Prisoners is a great movie. I got the chance to see it in theaters, and liked it even more after watching it recently. It's a movie by Denis Villeneuve, a fantastic story teller. Without giving much away, this film takes you on a journey, and along that journey you are made to feel things that may conflict with your morals. In fact, you feel a plethora of emotions throughout every event in the movie. Plus the actors all give a great performance. Each character has their own personality, and all the dialogue between them is so natural. There's a good chance you'll really find yourself invested in this movie. I also encourage you to check out other films by Denis Villeneuve, such as Sicario, Enemy, and Incendies (which is arguably his best piece of work). It feels to me like we have a gem of a director, and everyone who is genuinely interested in film should take the time to check out his movies.
