Tough and resilient pliers The pliers are made of lightweight aluminum to resist corrosion from saltwater fishing which fits my needs. Great grip and utility. No big worry of the hook slipping off once you get a handle, and the pliers are long enough to get down into the mouth of the fish. Also, there is a lock to keep the pliers closed. If you are an avid fisherman, there is a lot to like about this plier. Except for fishing, I've used them for so many other things that I carry them with me all the time. The other day, I used them to pull staples out of the wood floor after pulling carpet back and they were perfect for that. It also didn't seem to dull them at all. I can see me using these for a long time!

The design's slick, and they won't rust on you after a couple of trips, which is a plus. Comparing them to others on the market, they do the job without making a big dent in your wallet. Great tool.

These fishing pliers are the best option and must-have for your tool box. Lightweight and saltwater resistant with a textured hand feeling. The needle noses are great for hook removal and the little tip at the end can help with opening key/circle rings. Very versatile and portable! I'd buy them again.

Pretty good for what they are, good to have on hand and you won't cry if you drop them in the water.

The pliers are not very strong and distorted after removing the first hook from a fishes mouth. Now the ends don't line up and they don't grip the hook very well any longer. Also, after just a few uses of cutting braid line, the cutters are staring to dull and having a hard time cutting braid line. I would not recommend buying these.
