This is a darling little heater! Am buying another for a gift.The thing I like most about it is that you can watch the flame without the Heat or you can have the Heat and the flame at the same time. And the heater works great! thank you walmart!

Small and best money spent going into the winter. Keeps me cozy . Heats my apartment by itself. One bedroom 300 square feet.

It works as a great leg warmer under your desk to keep you warm. You can also use it in a small bedroom to keep you warm.

A mini fireplace in a wood cabinet. What's not to like? It really does look like a miniature fireplace, about shoebox size. Finish on cabinet is a warm reddish oak color. The "fire" in the fireplace is moving orange celluloid flames and looks fairly convincing. The "logs" are both in front and back of fire, giving it a somewhat 3-D effect. There is a heat function which is not adjustable, nor are the flames adjustable. The heat is adequate for a smallish space, 12 by 12 or thereabouts. It is a very quiet heater, and you can also use just the flame effect, which is completely silent. So far, the cabinet has remained cool to the touch, but for safety I would stand this on its own with space around it, and plug it into a dedicated outlet without using an extension cord or device, as recommended. It did produce an odd chemical smell when first turned on, which I expect will fade. A bit overpriced, but a nice little focal point with the heater as a bonus.

I really like the power of the heat that this fireplace gives off. And it matches my decor perfectly. It adds a special elegant look to the living room.
