not sure about kokanee but worked on other species
I bought this for my trip out to a kokanee lake. Didn't get a single bite on the corn. I did use the rest of the corn on another lake and did catch me some rainbows and carp. Also, walmart might have old stock. Mine was caked up and the seal that kept the stuff fresh was not glued on when I opened it. Maybe it was returned? The CSR sent me a replacement but that was caked up too, not as bad as the first.

Wrongly advertised
I read the description was expecting the mixture to be scented and turn the corn pink. You have to add the scent and the dye separately.
