We had one just like this and it got zapped when we had some electrical problems. Bought another one and was able to plug in and it worked immediately.

works so far
i got this to replace my older one, the ac guy wanted to charge almost $200 to replace the thermostat and it was an easy snap off and snap on (only the front part was needed to replace)

I have to replace this thermostat every year. It gets to where you can not raise and lower the temp. Been replacing them myself, but had heating and cooling repair people do it this time in case I was doing something wrong. They said I had it right. They said other people they worked for had the same problem with this thermostat to try a different one next time. The people that sold this product was excellent. They delivered early and everything was fine with their service.

Great Product Replacement
Had the earlier model for twenty years. Operated well, no problems. Suddenly the unit failed. Found exact product replacement, however the new product was an approved version of the original unit. Received the new unit as ordered and easily installed it myself. Works wonderfully, smooth and seamless. A good buy!!

Out with Old in with the New
This thermostat came defective and I reached out to the seller. The seller was AAA about it and shipped me a new thermostat. The new on came and looks 100% better. Only time will tell about this thermostat on how it holds up. It is replacing an old dial mercury thermostat. The old one is still good and never had a problem but thought I would up grade. Looks like a quality thermostat and like the digital readout and simplicity of operation. The four stars a because the first thermostat came defective. I cannot say enough of good things about the seller (Air One Supply) they were fantastic AAA .

Not great
The item I purchased was used and broken. The battery connections were corroded and the battery cover was broken off. Would not recommend this seller.
