My order always arrives when it's supposed to
I was skeptical that I could actually find a bariatric multivitamin that I'd only need to take once a day and that would give me A+ passing grade blood work. But I just got my results and they were great! Only thing that came back was high Vitamin A, but I also have Congestive Heart Failure and take a slew of medications and this or my condition often causes whacky results on my blood work so I'm not worried and am excited to reorder my multivitamin and know I've found one for life!
I bought these when my lab results showed I was still not hitting the iron levels I needed to. Having an iron-free option for my bariatric vitamin means I can double my iron intake with a separate supplement, rather than doubling up on the entire vitamin in order to double my iron intake. Thanks, ProCare Health!
I haven't been taking it for very long, but I can say that it doesn't make my stomach sick like most vitamins. Sometimes I get a bit hot in the face after I take it, which may be from niacin, but that's expected. I haven't had bariatric surgery, but I have been suffering from weight loss & many years of multiple GI issues (gastroparesis, chronic gastritis, stomach ulcers, hiatal hernia). I can't get enough nutrients from food, so it's nice to find a vitamin that doesn't make me nauseous.
This bariatric vitamin is a trade-off from my previous vitamin, insofar as there's only ONE capsule to swallow, instead of SIX! It is a bit more costly, but it's a choice one has to make. Today, I received the results of my most recent blood work, and everything is right on point! I'm thrilled.
The packaging is beautiful for starters, and the capsules are huge, but it's not terrible. When it comes to the size of the vitamin, I would consider it medium-sized, about the same as a fish oil pill. These vitamins work for me so well and I am very happy to have Procare!!
These never hurt my stomach. I am have not had WLS but vitamins have always been very hard on my stomach and so I would never take them. I had these sent as a sample in a protein supplement once and I loved them. I have been buying bottles of them since.
These are a pretty good price. However, I have recently discovered that I struggle with taking average-sized capsules. Therefore, I will be buying multivitamin soft chews from now on. If you struggle with taking pills, I do not recommend this product. If you do not struggle, these are a great option.
I like that I only have to take one. I don't like capsules, they stick in my throat, no matter how much water, and ALL bariatric vitamins upset my stomach so I must remember to take it with a meal. All taste terrible to me as well. However, I will take these over others because after 15 days of trying them I haven't been nauseous afterwards.
Wouldn't take them if I didn't have to.
