I think this is a good product for bariatric patients.
I don't get nauseous. I love the fact this is all i need. I take to and I'm done. !! Not big capsules either.
like that it already has probiotics
Fabulous. Feeling so much better and regular.
I'm 6 years post op, and I have learned that my sleeve...is finicky when it comes to iron-containing vitamins. Majority of brands leave me with burps and metallic-flavored slime for an hour or more after consuming. NOT THESE. I haven't missed a day since I've started taking them for my AM dose (I use another brand for the afternoon, it mixes in water and is super easy for me to get down when I'm on the go at work during my nursing shifts). Super easy to swallow.
I’m just finishing up on my 1st month’s worth and I love them. Bought due to added probiotics. The recommended daily value is based off of 2 caps, not 1, so 2 is supposed to be taken. You can take both at the same time or twice a day. The only thing I don’t like is the iron added. My levels were great before, so I hope I don’t have excess iron now. Other than that, I’d definitely recommend them. I’m ordering more. Btw, I’m 14 months post gastric sleeve.
I have had chemotherapy in addition to my gastric bypass, resulting in hair loss and poor Regrowth. I was given a sample bottle of vitamins. Have taken them for approximately 2 months. Hair loss seems to be less. So when I ordered more I chose to get the ones with probiotics ( eliminates separate supplement).
I have just started this product so it is early to know if they are working.
I’m glad I found a good BariatricPal vitamin that gives me all I need including probiotics (with the exception of calcium) and it’s not a chewable. I’m not a fan of the chewable. However this pill is just slightly too big for BariatricPal patients. Wish it was smaller. Plus it does make me slightly nauseated after taking (and yes I’m taking right after I eat). It may be better if your a few months post surgery before taking these.
First off well packaged takes like 5 to 6 days for arrival. The bottle does not look like the one in the pictures also some slight differences in nutritional profile. The pills are difficult to get down but I am happy to say much less stomach upset than the average multi. I do wonder how come mine is different?
