This is a replacement shoe for one that I got in the emergency room six years ago. A few doctors told me that I would never get another shoe like this one that I had. I have tried others and purchased them but could not use them. This shoe has a wide bottom making it easy to balance. I am so happy to find it through Walmart. It is perfect. I wear it every day. You cannot go wrong purchasing this shoe.
This shoe is perfect for what I needed, having sustained either a sprain or mild fracture of my pinky toe with bruising into the metatarsal. Normal shoes are too painful to walk in given the location and nature of my injury. I already have a tall orthopedic boot from a different previous injury but I felt that was overkill for this. I will admit I have not yet ventured outside in NE Minnesota here with this shoe on (I've been housebound for a week), but it is so far very comfortable to wear in my house. It takes the pressure off my toe and metatarsal and allows me to walk normally for the first time in a week without pain. The fit is perfect but I wear a size 7 and went with small. If I were a 7.5 or 8 these would be too small as far as length. The sole is very hard but cushioned on the inside, nevertheless it is loud when walking on a hard floor. This has ok traction but I suspect it will be a challenge out in the snow and ice getting to my vehicle. There is a slight rocker on the bottom. I dont feel this is as secure and supportive as my ortho boot but it does the trick and is far less cumbersome and conspicuous. I did add a PowerStep orthopedic insole to the inside of this shoe for added support for my high arched foot. My only wish is that there was slightly more rocker on the bottom. For the low price this is very decent quality. I recommend it for minor injuries in foot.
This is very poorly made. It doesn't fit the shape of a foot well at all. Poor quality all around.
its suppose to be a post surgical shoe...well its so slick on the bottom i fell the same day of surgery, re opened surgical site and a bad bruised hip
