I must say, I bought this for my husband and he was skeptical about it that he didn't use it right away (6 months later). And now, he can't stop talking about how smooth his face feels the entire day. He wishes he would have used this sooner and not have waited so long. I must say, I definitely love how his face feels and looks (no razor bumps or redness) now that he uses the heated razor.
This is a great razor. I have had no issues. It's a great comfortable shave. The blades are the smoothest and last long. I just bought my second razor because we have two homes and I wanted a comfortable smooth shave at both locations. I've tried many razors and I believe this is the best.
I bought the razor two month ago and I love this technology.
In the beginning it's fine but after three shaves it starts cutting my face. I looked for several reviews to try to find out if the new cartridges that fit the heated razor with the white strip are better for this or not, but nothing I have found says so. I really would like to know the difference between the two blades!
I have used Gillette ProGlide Shield blades and it's very sharp and smooth shaving. I expected from blades which twice more expensive to provide better or at least same results. But, every single shave I have cut my face in many areas. Skin got irritated when using GilletteLabs (hot razor) blades. Cost: those blades just have a cut for hot razor heated plate, nothing extra. Why when cost doubled?? I tried recently Schick 5 blades sensitive skin and had zero cuts and no irritation.
The heated razor is a great idea. The blades last a really long time. Even though they cost a little more, they stay sharper longer than any razor I have used. The heat really helps my sensitive skin. If this review was simply the razor and blades I would give 5 stars. I gave 1 star - the subscription service is flawed. When I purchased the razor I signed up for the subscription service so I wouldn't have to worry about getting these specialized blades. The service also provided a $10 savings. Guess what? The subscription service has never sent me any blades. When it was time to ship, It started with an email letting me know they are out of stock. I did notice that the blades were still for sale online at this site. I tried to get the subscription to ship to me by saying ship now only to get the same result. This all started in November. Needless to say, I have no blades. The handle is worthless without blades! Customer service is a message machine. Save your money!
I bought this months ago while I was deployed in Poland it worked great at first until it didn't, the head of the razor gets rusted if I keep in the travel charging case I didn't notice until I was done shaving one day and the razor it self got some white stuff on it like water damage that won't come off
