Proctor Silex Electric Dome Kettle, Tea & Water Kettle with Temperature Gauge, 1.7L, Stainless Steel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this thing. So does my wife. It's super easy to use and super easy to clean as well. I use it whenever I need some boiling water for my cup of noodles, and my wife uses it for tea and the occasional instant coffee. It heats water to boiling super fast. I haven't actually timed it yet, but it seems like it comes to a boil within a minute or less, which is obviously way faster than boiling water in a pan on the stove. Even better than the old-school stovetop kettles. Also way faster than microwaving a cup of water as well. It even looks cool sitting on our countertop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love Tea. We love Coffee. We love to camp. Hate running water through the coffee maker for hot water for tea. This was such a great addition to the camper. My son misses the whistle from the kettle when the water is hot enough but that is trivial. The outside of the unit gets hot so just be careful with little people around so they dont burn themselves.

It is very simple to use & most importantly, heats water very quickly. I'm able to prepare tea, hot chocolate, hot breakfast cereal, and more with tremendous ease. It's very convenient to have hot/boiling water available without a wait time. The kettle is well-designed and the water pours without splashing. Another little feature, but one I really like, is that the cord can be wrapped under the base keeping the counter tidy. The instructions even provide the ideal temperature for a variety of teas. This has really been a great addition to my counter. Absolutely 5 stars!

I like the way it blends in with other appliances and is decorative but also does not take up alot of space in the small home we live in. It works great and is also small enough to store away if you don't want to keep something else out on the counter too.

I often will turn the kettle on and then forget about it (luckily it has an auto shut off) but when I come back sometimes an hour later the water is still warm enough to make tea! It's great! I love that there is a temperature gauge so I can make each tea to it's specified temperature or make hot cocoa for my kids without making the water too hot. The classic kettle design makes it easy to pour. I definitely recommend this electric kettle!

The kettle is very large and can heat up a very good amount of water. Proctor Silex is a very good company and makes very good products. I would recommend this kettle to everyone.

It is so awesome that it has the temperature listed on it, so its great to make different teas and coffees that specify this. It is very sleek, so it still looks good sitting on my stove top when the kitchen is cleaned up.

Instead it has a platform that it sits on that poses no threat to the countertop or occupying a spot on the stove! Works relatively quick and convenient! I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great, heats up super fast and has a water level and temperature gauge. Only small thing I don't like is the cord is suppose to be a short easy neat chord that wraps up at the bottom but it isn't retractable so its designed like it should be but you actually have to get under there and wrap it. All in all, I really like it though and the design is very sleek and goes with all decor. Makes hot cocoas and tea so much easier!
