I actually love this treadmill. my first Proform treadmill did not have automatic incline, so after a couple of years, i decided to upgrade. it was one of the best decisions I made. I'm so happy with this one.
I got this machine not to long ago, was easy for me to put it together I used to do that for a delivery company. I'm 5.3 195lbs If you consider yourself a big person you may not like the space you have between the handle's The machine belt is narrow, I will say this machine is a medium size. I run on it but if you only going to walk on it don't have to worry about loose your step on the belt while running for belt being narrow. The only thing I don't like it's that has a rubbing belt noise while in use. I don't know if will go way with time or I have to loose the belt. But overall is a good purchase for me Until now. 1 week after I buy it.
They are very misleading with the iFit feature. There are stickers on the treadmill and noted in the manual that you MUST activate your treadmill in order for it to work and the activation link takes you to a website asking for a credit card for a monthly subscription. I knew that couldn't be true, so I went to Google. Don't fall for the misleading information. The treadmill will work with out, paying for the iFit membership. Just hold the iFit logo on the display screen for about 15 seconds and it will operate just fine without it. Other than being very irritated with how they try to tell you, you have to pay in order to use it the treadmill is very nice. Seems to be good quality, although I have only used it once as of writing this review. Assembling was pretty easy. Instructions say you need two people but I did it solo and didn't have any issues. Like I said, I've only used it once so far and with just one use I don't know if I would say it would be worth the almost $500 price tag however, at the clearance price of under $200 I paid so far I am very satisfied.
It stopped working with less than a month of use. I submitted a ticket with ProForm and after a week of waiting, I decided to return it. Gladly, Walmart accepted and sent someone to pick it up to my home. ProForm contacted me about 6 weeks later after the return. Don't buy that brand, their service is basically nonexistent.
This item was delivered by Pilot delivery service. The box was in destroyed condition and consequently the treadmill suffered damaged. I contacted Walmart customer service to request a replacement. Instead of them exchanging it at time of delivery, they want to take my damaged treadmill completely ensuring that I won't receive anything, a replacement or a refund. This company should be ashamed of not standing behind their shipping partners. I specifically requested either fedex or ups and ended up with an elderly, frail delivery person to unload 150 lbs of treadmill -. My daughter had to help unload it. Please see the pictures. I challenge Walmart to make this right! Both front lower bumper inserts were ripped out, metal damaged and right treadmill arm (when facing console had plastic screw insert completely broken out so cannot tight it. Walmart is this how you treat your customers?
The delivery and installation should have been coordinated. The guy that delivered it said that he couldn't put the box in my home. It is still by my back door. I realized today that someone was going to assemble the treadmill Wednesday. I am not pleased.
Bought this treadmill for my son who's an all American athlete. I'm sorry to say,he only had it for a month, running 5 miles on it in the morning. Before it broke down on him. The belt stops moving, but we can still hear the motor running. I've checked all over the Internet, with no luck as far as a solution, just tons of people with all the same complaints. What a shame proform has surly fallen off😟 being that the last treadmill we bought from them lasted 13 years.
I had the treadmill last than a year.. walking on it this morning the mat start slipping while I was walking, and if weren't holding onto something you can really hurt yourself. I bought a 3 year warranty and it's hard trying to file a claim and also no number to call. I will be talking to a lawyer on this and I'm not sure who will be sued Walmart or Allstate.
I had a hard time getting screws started because screw holes don't line up. Took me 4 hours to assemble. Spent another 3 hours setting up the app and trying to get the display out of demo mode. Both of the methods to turn off demo mode don't work but the machine does work in demo mode. The next step in setup is calibrating the incline but the settings button apparently doesn't work in demo mode. Customer service line is closed on weekends and the iFIT website returned 80 results when I searched for my problem. None of them applied to my problem
One year to the day after I bought this, the belt stopped in the middle of my work out. Google is telling me it's the motor. I'm not going to pay hundreds of dollars to get the motor on a $400 treadmill fixed.
