ProForm Carbon Strength Power Rack 610lb Total Weight Capacity

We have an exercise room in the basement and the size of this rack fits great in a standard size room with 8ft ceilings. This rack is simple to build, however I did have to punch out the center of a bolt whole because it was not fully removed before coating. The only other issue was the storage rack bolts have a very narrow tolerance that cause a little difficulty when assembling, This half rack model is reasonable in overall weight so moving it into the farthest room in the basement was no problem. There is a well built pullup bar at the top and a landmine for utilizing the rack and plates for rows and alternative squats. This rack is one of the only ones I saw that come with band anchor points that are adjustable. ***Caution if you plan to use the band anchors prepare to bolt it into the floor OR stack the spotter bars with weights.*** The spotter bars and bar holder are very well built with a tight tolerance that I believe will hold for a while. All in all, with the small issues I encountered, the multiple uses for this rack make it a nice addition to our home gym. I have purchased a few power racks over the years and have used many more power racks at various weight rooms across the world. At this price point, I had some expectations, none of which were extremely high. I am pleased to say, after setting this up and using it extensively over the past two weeks, my initial expectations were misguided This is an excellent rack, high quality, sturdy, full of features and at a great price! Please see below for a detailed review. Setup: The external and internal packaging are sturdy, but the boxed unit was somewhat damaged in transit. Upon unboxing and inspection, I was surprised to find that the internal components were free from defect. It took my teenage son and I just under an hour to set it up. Left and right components are clearly labeled and the instructions are extremely intuitive saving a lot of time during installation. Do not try to set this up by yourself. You must have someone to balance the left and right supports while you bolt everything together. Utility/Features: I use this rack for every major barbell lift that you can think of and max out many of the weight limits with no issues. I love variable resistance workouts, so the ability to easily attach resistance bands to included band anchors is huge. Just realize that you need to load the weight tubes with a good amount of weight or bolt the equipment down (the base includes holes so that you can bolt it to the floor if necessary) to be able to use resistance bands. Pull up bar is stable for kipping and the land mine works well for overhead shoulder presses Value: This rack is well designed and a great addition to any home gym for the price. Everything is powder coated and will stand up to good amount of punishment. Understand that this is just the power rack. Well engineered and clear assembly instructions. The parts were well packaged and clearly identified. Assembly was straightforward. I was able to do it alone, although the instructions stated two people should assemble the rack together. Instructions state the only required tools are a crescent wrench and a rubber mallet. Using an 11/16" socket set will save some time. There are a couple of locking nuts where the wrench is necessary because a socket won't fit. Just remember not to completely tighten the locking nuts, per the instructions, until near the end when instructed to do so. The unit is exceptionally sturdy and obviously well engineered. With an occasional check to ensure bolts and nuts are tight, the power rack should last forever. I was given this product for a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

This rack is MONEY! I am pretty particular about my gym equipment having used a lot of commercial equipment. This rack is commercial quality in a residential offering at an insanely reasonable price! Setup took about 2 hours (done all by myself). Unfortunately, there is no significant way to speed up the process - lots of nuts and bolts; however, it is worth the time! The end result is a VERY solid and sturdy rack. Super easy to adjust hooks and catch bars. I love that I can hang all my plates on it, saving a lot of space in my little basement gym. At 200lbs, the rack doesn't groan and moan when I do pull-ups. I love it and it would be a great addition to any home gym! I am new to using a weight rack and have loved the Proform Power Rack. It was easy to assemble, instructions were easy to follow and parts were marked correctly. I would suggest that you have two people to when you assemble the rack, it makes it easier. I am so excited to have a place to store all of my weights and there is a lot of storage on the rack. It is also deep enough to easily use a bench. I love that you can attach resistance bands, this just adds more versatility to my workout. This power rack really has some great features and is strong and sturdy. The only things that I found is that my basement ceilings are on 8 feet tall and the rack's height is 7 feet tall and so if you want to use the pull up bar make sure that you have taller ceilings. This is a great overall rack, great value for the money I was given this product for a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

Assemble of the Proform Carbon Power Rack was very easy each part was labeled to provide provide easy once assembled product is very secure and stable, even when its loaded up with weights. This product provides versatility to my workout routine and is easy to adjust when moving from squats to bench press. Overall very pleased with this product. I love working out my arms and core, and the Proform Carbon Power Rack is the perfect machine to help strengthen these areas. Assembly was pretty simple and straightforward, which I liked. My main critique would be the equipment being heavy, but if you have another person nearby you should be good! I will continue using the machine. Product is great. The metal is strong and is sturdy when doing pull-ups. The box was a little damaged when delivered but did not effect the rack. This is a great product. Very sturdy and easy to put together. If you work out alone or with others, this is a great product. We have been using this for a while now and love it. The bar hooks are easily adjustable for people working out with multiple people. The pull-up bar is strong and will hold anything you can put on it. We hung a 200lb punching bag from it and it held it with no problem. We did end up having a piece missing when it arrived. Customer service was great and got us another piece quickly. The unit is quite large so make sure you have plenty of space for the unit, bars, and weights the go with it.
